I go into Lowes with a baby in my arms, carrying a large diaper bag and holding a 4 yr old's hand and it's raining outside and ask "Are there any carts?" and the girl snobbishly answers "you have to get them out of the parking lot," so I told her that it's ridiculous and of course she gives me another snobbish look.

What the hell? Isn't she at least supposed to say sorry for the inconvenience....I'm tired of looking like a biatch all the time because I feel like I am BOTHERING the employees with my questions!!

Doesn't the training process include customer service or do they skip now?

I live in San Francisco and frequently have to park my manual tranmission car on steep hills. I feel as though the parking brake has been loosing its grip because I have to pull it all the way to hold the car. If I park my car in gear, can that be enough to hold it on a steep hill?

to fight her and beat the **** out of her she isnt going to be left standing when i finish with her she will be knocked out and very badly hurt her do you have any tips we are both 14 but she is taller than me im 5ft and she is 5ft 9 she has an advantage over me if i dont know how to defend myself properly she will hurt me very badly and probably break my bones and she wont stop until im knocked out or not able to stand up

Okay, my parents are divorced and both of them are dating other people. anyway, my dad was coming for Xmas dinner, and he just canceled and said he was coming for desert. my mom is so freaking upset, she was yelling and crying in the phone. she's really mad that he's not coming for Xmas and she called his gf "skanky". she's going all out like "oh i'm so sorry your fathers leaving you..bla bla i know how it feels my dad left me when i was young..." she's really annoying. anyway i'm not that sad but i am kinda upset. what should i do about my mom and about my dad not coming... :*(

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though a whale is a very large mammal, its throat is very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. The teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human, it was impossible.

i know snakes have a diffrent kind of vision then humans,
i have a pet snake (red tail boa...2 feet long...)
who seems to watch the tv when he's near it. i try to keep the volume down so as not to scare him...
is he seeing whats on tv, or is he just stareing at something large and warm?

I have no real experiance with this love thing and have limited knowledge on it. My best friend just found out that the guy she loves just moved away. She moved away back in the summer, but still had some contact when she visited with her aunt out there. She never had a chance to tell him how she really feels. I've had that happen to me and my best freind (still waiting for her to write me back on my page), but still have no clue what to tell her. I dont want her to be all depressed and down. I left him one year ago after 25 years of marriage.He succeded in hiding a perfec t doble life with his secretary for 15 years!!But nothing lasts for ever.He has been calling almost every day since I left.He has been spying on me to know what I´m doing for Xmas holidays.Of course I won´t tell him.I ´ve told him to let me alone as he is living with his secretary.I no longer answer his calls but sometimes I get desperate.Why can´t he accept that I need to be as happy as he is .I never annoy them.I´m 46,our children are over 20 by now.

I am having some trouble with my LM393 comparator circuit. I can use it to channel the power (i.e. use the V+ and input/output pins), but the ground pin does not seem to be working. I have tried my circuit with several other 393's to no avail. does anyone know of a simple circuit I could run through it to see where I went wrong? Let me know if I can be more helpful with my info. Thanks!

My 13-year-old son has eczema on his legs and arms. He has all the lotion he needs to clear it up, but seldom bothers to apply them. When I volunteer or insist to put lotion on his legs and arms, suggest that he does so, or tell him I am going to rub it on him after his bath/shower it invariably turns into a battle or argument. His legs and arms are in such a bad state and I really do want to help. What do you advise?
