an experience that made you change your mind and start believing in god, would you then try and convert the rest of us atheists.
concidering how you now feel about people trying to convince you fiction is fact, but also concidering that if you got turned to the dark side it would have to be something pretty impressive that did it, would you try and preach? even if you had no proof.

This is obviously hyperthetical (there is no god) but use your imagination, what would you do?

I posted this here cause I like it here so tell me what do think of this poem
there's rain falling softly on my face,
like tears from the angels above.
are they feeling lonely like me,
have they lost somebody they love.
the winds seem to carry a song,
a melody sad and forlorn.
even the clouds hide the sun,.
to let not a cold heart be warm
the long day can be weathered sometimes,
intrusions of hurt fills the night.
it's then that the tormentor smiles,
while the sleepless lay watch till light.
it cant always turn out this way,
the giving of love has to be.
so I will wait in line with the others,
and hope there is some love left for me.

Hi folks, i saw this movie " imagine u and me" and it was good. There was this girl called Lucy who talked to some guy called Coop, telling him, never wreck another couple, don't cause that pain ever. Just hook up with someone available. Then after lucy herself wrecks a couple because she loves one of them, the guy, coop comes to her and says, "What was that thing that you said, what was that? "Never wreck another couple. You really stuck to that one good, didn't you???" So what does this sentence mean, " You really stuck to that one good, didn't tou? " Please let me know. Thanks.

"It's a well-known fact that if you're set upon honor, honor slips around you and heads for where the daisies grow. And the reverse holds true. If you avoid honor, honor tails after you, begging: 'Dopey! What are you running away for? Take a little bit, at least.'"

Since the composer Maurice Ravel passed away in 1937, the next year (2008) his music should fall in the public domain (the standard rule of copyrights is that a work falls in the public domain after 70 years from the author's death), but it's unclear if Maurice Ravel's works have some sort of tie with other copyright holders... anyone can help me to find this out?

Thanks in advance.

For example, the American Kennel Club lists "hounds" in a separate category. I know that before the English language developed in England, all canines were called "hounds" and then "dog" was used later.

This year I bought a multimedia life sized beautiful nativity scene to put up in my front yard. It has a sound system and a slide show in the backdrop to make it seem just like the real thing or maybe a movie scene.

The only problem is that the neighbors are complaining. They are complaining that the lighting system is supposedly too bright and that the sound track is supposedly too loud and bothering them.

The police came out and gave me a warning ticket. But I told them that I am not changing a thing and that I am standing up for my right of religious expression.

As far as I'm concerned, if these neighbors don't like it they aren't true Christians. How could anyone not appreciate the holiness and beauty of the birth scene of baby Jesus. If they don't like it they can find another neighborhood that celebrates the birth of SATAN.

What should I do?

I know this question should be under music, but oddly enough there is not such a thing as a subcategory for Latin music. So I hope somebody in LatinAmerican travel knows this.

my week hasn't been normal and my friend knows that. we were go to hang out on Thursday then i had to switch shifts to watch my niece and nephew, who were suppose to come in but didn't. my friend was thinking about hanging out with us but they had another friend who had a Christmas show to put on. i told them last night i felt like i need a day to myself. and they ask if i am trying to be mean and scam them and only need them when i want and that is not true. i have planned a trip with this person whom i have promised not to pull out on. i have already got my requested days off and all. and i plan on going on this trip with this person. did i betray this person and if so how do i apologize if not is this person oversensitive since they have been hurt before in a different situations but similar incident?

This is my first year spent in the icy north and I've read all about how to drive on icy roads. But our cabin is down a hill (unpaved) and driving up it with snow on it, I find my tires spinning. So far I've managed it by going slow in low gear but would really appreciate any hints. We have 2 vehicles...a Tracker with 4 wheel drive (that you have to turn the hubs outside) and a Chevy Silverado pickup with 4 wheel drive. I've never driven 4 wheel drive before either. Hubby is disabled, so I've got to learn this on my own.

Thanks! Really appreciate any opinions.
