Are the Democrats really that out of touch with reality?

George Bush Sr. lost in 1992 because of Ross Perot.

Climates change, polls can be wrong. After all it wasn't that long ago it was a forgone conclusion that it would be a Clinton v. Giuliani national election. Now Obama has a real shot and Huckabee is a viable candidate (out of no where it seems).

Point being, stuff changes. Though I hope its accurate - and Hillary does get the nod.

oh she's going to be the Democratic nominee. It's going to be beautiful watching her fumble and bumble trying to debate substitive issues in a debate with any of the Republican nominees. It frightens everyone in her camp imagining her up there in front of millions of people getting humiliated.oh by the way she's going to be the nominee because of who her husband is,some plan...

Yeah and lets talk about the 92 election..FACT if Ross Perot had not been in the election Bush #1 49%,Clinton 47%.Know what that means.Nobody really cares all that much for Bill or Hillary...

Hillary is the front-runner only because they don't have a good candidate. Most people voting for Hillary are voting for her because they like Bill, but Bill is not running nor will he be president. One of these days and it looks like it's happening now Hillary supporters are realizing this. Hillary supporters are realizing they have a shrill voiced candidate that has done nothing in the last 20 years but be on bimbo patrol for Bill. Not sure if that qualifies you to be president of the United States let alone a senator from New York, but then again people from New York were never that bright.

The fact that anyone who claims to have common sense would vote for a clinton is beyond me.

Clinton's own friend calls him blacker than Obama.
Clinton has slept with more black women than Obama.
Clinton's defense fund was to pay off all the women Clinton has slept with and abused.

Hillary stays married to the scum bag thereby telling the women of the world they have to put up with such behavior just to get ahead...which makes her a power hungry gold digger.

Where is the outrage of the liberated woman?
Where is the outrage of the black community?

On what planet and in what alternative universe would such people be considered a good thing for this country?

Hillary will not be the nominee. She rode to the top because of her air of inevitability. That is disintegrating as people become more familiar and more confident in Obama.

BTW, your poll is for Florida, not for the country. Most polls I've seen though, do show Obama doing much better than Hillary in any match-up with a Republican.

The polls right now are so insignifigant, so much can change between now and election day. I have seen other polls that put Clinton as winning the General Election. Right now the important thing is each candidate gets through their Primary. I remember back in '92 George Sr. had a huge lead in the polls well before the election was going to happen and he lost, so alot can happen before now and then.

Obama is on a surge. He could likely win 3 out of the first 4 primaries. The question is, can Hillary's "politics of personal destruction" save her campaign, or finish it off?

No, a person who thinks a poll is somehow a "fact" is out of touch with reality, especially a person who cherry-picks the parts of the poll they like and disregards the parts that contradict their already foregone conclusion that they wish to prove by cherry-picking from polls.

Let me elaborate on your treachery.

First the poll was taken only in Florida, about as conservative a state as you could pick.

Second, as to the "scientific" nature of the poll, may I copy out the last line of the report? Here it is:

"The survey was conducted in partnership with Fox Television Stations, Inc."
