To pursue a dream it means you stick your mind to something and follow through on completing it. Dreams could be a future job, having something, or even a dream house. To pursue a dream we need diligence and determination.
“Anybody can do just about anything with himself that he really wants to and makes up his mind to do. We are capable of greater things than we realize.”
-Norman Vincent Peale
This quote says a lot for people trying to fulfill a dream for themselves or another person. We set our own limitations and boundaries of what we can do if you just give yourself reassurance that we can do anything we set our mind to everything will come easy to us.
When I was 5 I wanted to play the flute so much. My mom asked the lady at the music store counter how old girls had to be to play the flute, the tall dark haired woman said my lounges were not developed enough and I had to wait until I was at least 11 to have a proper lounge capacity. I walked into the busy sidewalk sad and depressed. My mom told me I could play the flute when I was older but I wanted it now. When I told her that she said to play the piano and learn the notes first then I could play anything I put my mind to.
When I turned 11 I started to play the flute just like my mom said I could. While thinking about that story, I knew if I did not keep that dream then I would not have played. I think working hard at something is easier if you really want to complete something. Along the way my mom was very benevolent while helping me to pursue my dream even paying for my flute. When you have that loving support it in a sense picks you up when you fall along the way.
This brought to mind a conversation about limitations. We can decide where we stop ourselves from going further with our dreams. But I was thinking why do we have to stop. We have a whole lifetime ahead of us. If dreams start to progress in our heads while we are young there is more of a chance we can succeed and we have a while to tweak it and try different things.
Going back to the quote in the first paragraph we can do anything we put our mind to and diligently follow through on. In the words of Heidi Willis “all limitations are self imposed.” If we trust in our selves and keep our dream alive anything is possible. Why do we have to limit ourselves. We can pick our own battles we want to fight we can achieve success.

I am a slim petite woman who has trouble finding work pants/slacks that fit, because the pants may have my right waist size but it will still be loose in my rear and thigh area because I have small hips. Are there any affordable retail or online stores which may accommodate my problem? Thx

When an idea such as evolution or radioactive dating is brought forth, that hypothesis or idea is published in a scientifc journal subject to peer review--along with the supporting arguements, observations and data. Science not only encourages but almost demands other scientists to look at the work--look at the implications that perhaps even the author hadn't thought of--reproduce the data--and either confirm or invalidate the work. This peer review is done by submitting a paper to a scientific journal with the new data, new information etc. that would either confirm, expand, or refute the original idea. This new paper likewise is subject to the same scrutiny the original paper was. This ensures in the sciences that false ideas are soundly trounced, mis-information or poor research is thusly self correcting by science--it is an adversarial system to a point. Posting creationist ideas in a web site mean nothing--I've never seen one make it into a respected journal. False hypothesis.

In light of the very weak calss of 2007, I opted to look up a list of artists who are currently eligible. It makes this year's class even worse. Which ones do you think should be inducted?

a few days ago i went out to town with a few friends and i got a bad headache and my eyes felt squinty and achy and slightly blurd but not much, one of my friends [who wears glasses for distance] could see i was squinting and asked me to read out some signs at a distance, i only got two out of five correct, we then went to a park area and then he then asked me to put on his glasses and wear them for about 30 mins, my headache and eyeache had almost gone after a fer mins. after the 30mins he told me to read five more signs at a distance, and i got them all, i then gave his glasses back, as soon as i removed the glasses things were more blurd than before and took quite a while to go back to slightly blurd by that time my headache came back. he said i was short sighted and needed to go to the optitions,
could this be the start of short sight?
or could this just be eyestrain? because i am 22 and short sight mostly starts between the ages 11-20
i do use a computer and read a lot.

No, not for Moto GP, that ones been laid to rest thankfully.

Pirelli have been named as the suppliers for BSB & BSS from 2008-2010.

Your thoughts please. Personally I think its a good thing for the simple reason that it will allow the top BSB runners to "Wild Card" at the home races. Something thats been lacking since 2004.
