will the IRS have copies of 2005 and 2006 w2s? for those years i did not send in the w2 copies? does anybody know if the employer sends the w2 to the irs for those years?

You can go to the local IRS office & get a printout.

You need to learn to set up a personal filing system soon. The IRS gets your income report through your Social Security number, but the W-2s are sent to you, you should have your copies, even if you didn't file an income tax return. They should be in your files.

Contact your employer(s) for copies. They should provide them for free whereas the IRS will ask for a fee.

Yes, your employer is required to send them. That would be the fasted way. If you have to go to the IRS I can assure you you won't get them ASAP

call the irs and they will either fax it or mail it, if i where you i would have it faxed it only took 24 hours to recieve them versus 3-5 weeks mailed lol i know exactly what you are going through i had to get mine for college

There is no such thing as "ASAP" when dealing with the IRS.

It would be quicker to go back to your employer(s). They will probably charge you for them though.
