I celebrate the repeal of Prohibition (December 5).
I also enjoy the annual little black doggie video from the President as that is the only time of the year I have confidence in anything coming out of the Oval Office.
I am disturbed, however, that Barney is the brother to Miss Beasley; after all, this is the President who promised to bring morality back to the White House. But, I reckon the little Scottish terriers have been neutered by the President. That's what he did to Congress.
I don't get offended when I hear "Merry Christmas." It's inane but I try to consider the source and bear up under the pressure of ritualized, oppressive societal demands to be jovial for no apparent logical reason.

I celebrate Chanukah and no, I don't get offended when someone wishes me a Merry Christmas. People need thicker skin and the ability to focus attention to the REAL problems in the world! By the way, Merry Christmas to you...

I'm an atheist but we celebrate christmas. It's a good time to have family together and celebrate our love and health. I don't get offended when someone tells me to have a merry christmas.
And we all look forward to Santa's visit!

Every day is a holiday when you get up in the morning after spending a rest full night sleeping. Sleeping is as close to "non existence" for lack of a better description--without making you squeamish---than you will get. Bravo, breathing, living, going to work, watch the snow fall, get out on the highway---bam--"no existence"---Stay home be safe enjoy the thrill of breathing easily without interference. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
