I'm 16 and I kissed one of my friends as just experimentation, when she slept over at my house.

My mother and I got into a fight about her, and she doesn't know that we kissed, but my mother doesn't like my friend at all. Now, my mother means the world to me, she is second only to the Almighty Himself, and when we fought it made me feel awful.

For the past weeks, I've felt a change in my heart towards my friend, and upon examining her behavior, I found that there are several qualities I don't like about her. I feel extremely awkward around her, I just feel so weird around her. n

She asked me what's up, and I made up a bogus excuse that I'm trying to discoer who I am. Today, when I finally hung out with our group at lunch, she was very quiet and when my other friend asked what's worng with her, she said that she's been like this for awhile.

I'm desperate for help, please help me.
I don't want hurt her feelings, but I don't really feel "right" near her.
What should I do

I am all for taxing the corporations and sticking it to them but do they have a plan besides raising the minimum wage which won't help many people.

K, I just bought a full size piano, and it's old, I know it's not in tune. (please don't tell me to tune it, I'm going to get it tuned soon)

I am learning from scratch, and me and my father haven't talked about music lessons yet (yes, I'm fourteen :p) and I don't know how to read sheet music.

I want to learn some songs by ear, but apparently I should know where the key of C is first, but I have no idea how to locate it on anything but a keyboard. In fact, I don't know how to find it at all.

Can anyone give me tips on learning by ear, and how to find the key of C?

Last night I had a dream that my boyfriend left me at the alter, and no one could find him. Now, he always gets a little antsy when ever any of our friends get engaged, but I had that dream , and it bothered me. Anyway, I asked him today if someone offered to pay for a wedding, EVERYTHING, but we had to get married in a few months or so, would he go for it. He said no, and that he wouldn’t be ready.He wants to wait.
Understand that we are both in college, and that we have been dating for four years. I guess I don’t understand why I feel so crappy about it now.Plus he's mad at me for bringing it up.Any ideas about why I feel so crappy?

I've actually been a big supporter of nuclear energy because of it's low carbon emissions when used in a reactor. I know that spent nuclear waste takes some effort to store, but I was always on the side it could play a major role in our reduction of fossil fuels. However, this article says nuclear power has a bigger carbon footprint than most realize, from all the effort it takes to mine uranium:

Question Details: I am a beginner at drawing. I am naturally right handed Here are my questions, all somewhat related:
1)Will it make a difference if I use my left hand or right hand?
2)Will it make a difference if I use my left or right eye (to the exclusion of the other)?
3)Which is more important: which eye I use, or which hand I use? Or does neither matter?
4)Does handedness (or eye that I choose) affect imaginative drawing more than observational drawing?
5)Will using my left hand in general cause my right brain to be stimulated and therefore more developed and better overall at its functions?

I observed that I can sometimes draw more detail from an observational drawing when I use my LEFT hand, but I think this may be because I have more control over my RIGHT hand and using the LEFT hand causes me to slow down and be slightly more observant. I don't know though.

6)Should I just forget about all of this and just draw?
