I am a Malaysian Citizen. My son and daughter are malaysian citizens and are studying in India. Our passports expires in March 2008. It is not possible for us to go to Malaysia to get a new passport and renew the IC since it involves huge amount and it will disturb the studies of my children since they will be busy preparing for their examinations. Is it necessary to go over to Malaysia to get a new passport? Is there any other way to get our pass port without visiting Malaysia? If there are ways, what are the procedures? We are in Tamilnadu, India and Malaysian High Commission has an office at Chennai.

the necklace that is given to paul rudd by his girlfriend, the magnetic hearts...has anyone seen anything like this to buy?? for those who haven't seen it, there are 2 necklaces, one for the girl & one for the guy. they are simple, with a heart charm i think. and when the two charms are close, they stick together. does anyone know where i might find something like this? please help! i've been searching online for days!

I am a vegetarian and animal lover. I will be traveling to Israel next year and want to prepare myself mentally for any animal suffering I might witness. I recently returned from Greece and was depressed most of the trip. There was a huge amount of stray dogs and cats roaming the streets looking for food. This was the case in all the cities we visited.

I think I might have a drinking problem. My mother and her twin brother were are severe alcoholics. They have been sober 10 yrs +. I do not drink daily, but when I do, like say one weekends, I binge. Bad. I do things that are dangerous, risky, and very stupid. I can not even say what I do for fear of exposing myself. I have went out with a friends a few times, and stayed sober. I did OK with it, just was bored. I feel like I can not even enjoy sex unless I am 'buzzed'. You always picture an alcoholic as someone who drinks daily. Lately I am thinking its not just that. I have made some very poor decisions and I am very concerned. Help please.

I'm just wondering because I don't think I could ever get this whole "pure christian" thing down pat. As so many of the folks here assume to have.
Things I have going against me:
1) I believe gays should have the same etitlements as everyone else.
2) I can not bring myself to drown my kids...even when they drive me nuts.
3) I am happily married to my step brother. (which I just learned is considered a moral and religious sin by many) Oh and BTW we were married before they were (the parents)...but yes he is still my step brother.
4) I do not think I could tell anyone to go to hell.

So tell me why should I even bother attempting to believe when when it was all said and done I would still have the same beliefs regarding life as I do now? Wouldn't I just be a big disappointment to your god anyway?

i really don't know why but i'm facing these problems recently. i am a girl of thirteen. i'm feeling nauseous and having palpitations, a lot. my heartbeat is like, averagely, 106/min when i'm just sitting down and typing. Is this normal, or what?
i am really terrified. I don't know if it is psycology or what but i'll feel like weak and strengthless all of a sudden when i as bowling (the only sport i could play) or doing other things. i don't feel panic or stressed either. i'll even feel cold on my fingertips sometimes. Please help me?

I was accepted under the Early Decision agreement. When I looked at the financial package, I was disappointed. I expected more scholarships/grants. The loan is huge. My parents can't borrow that much money. (My loan is already loaded up to the max for a college freshman.) What should I do? I really want to attend that school. Is there any way to negotiate for a better package? Advice is appreciated. Thanks.

My man and I have been living together for 1yr 8 months. As Time has passed I have learned he is very lazy, He gets outta work and lays on the couch does almost nothing. I have to go out everynight and get us something to eat, Keep in mind I work also. I practically had to twist his arm just to get him to take me out for my birthday. But when it's something he wants to do like hang out at friends house or anything that benefits him he'll go out no questions asked. At the same time our world in the bedroom has crashed! I have talked him about these things and he says he'll change but i havent seen anything different. No he doesn't beat on me or call me names. We barely even argue.Although through all this I feel like my love is fading for him. Is it me or is it time for me to move on. Would a break help maybe so we can have time to think? I don't know what to do...HELP PLEASE!

I am Jewish. I don't believe in Jesus, I never will- believe me. So another one of God's chosen is going to hell for eternity. Doesn't make much sense, why would God pick the Jews if he knew they would "drop the ball"? Anyway, not the question. Here's the question: I'm Jewish, I always will be. Why is it that i'm always asked to convert, or i'm always being told that "jesus is the way"? I swear, every time I walk home i'll have some christian talk me out of judaism or some jehova's witness walk to my door and tell me about christianity. Come on. Ok, God spoke through our people, every prophet was Jewish, you got your bible to go crazy over. In the end, why can't people just accept someone else's religion without being pushy or saying that they're wrong. I've never done this until people have gotten too pushy, then the numbers gain shut me up. Message: Christians- leave the other religions alone.

I am a senior taking Chem II AP. It's okay, and i have an A in that class, but the thing is is that i don't have any passion or drive for chemistry. I was just taking it as a sort of "oh well, i'll never take it again EVER, so let this be a last farewell".

You see, my passion is biology, especially botany. I want to become a botanist, but i read somewhere that most botanists minor in chemistry. Can someone clear this up? do i have to minor in chemistry to become a successful research botanist?
