Yes, five times a week for 30 to 45 minutes is the recommended daily amount for non athletes. If you are training for a marathon though, it is probably about right.

It kinda is, but if it is not consuming your life and you eat right then I think it is fine. When I first started working out, I enjoyed it so much that I did it everyday for almost 2 hours too. I really needed to because I was about 250 lbs. Once I got my weight down, I worked out about 3 times a week for an hour. But I think it is nothing wrong with wanting to do a lot of cardio if you have the time to do it and its not like an anorexic or bulimic related thing, which I don't think it is.

It sounds like a lot....but if you're doing well and eating properly, go for it.
Personally, I only do about 6 hours of cardio per week, along with some weight training.

a little bit but if you feel good and are not hurting yourself and eating healthily i would say you are fine.. i used to do 3 hours every single day and diet and lost about 20 pounds in a month in a half..i felt great after each day and workout session and never felt like i was hurting my self..it was hard to remain disciplined but i cant even begin to say how happy i am that i did it! oh and are you trying to loose weight?
