My mom and both grandma's passed away VERY close together and so it's just me and my sis, her kids and gramps. We are VERY close. In fact, my sis and I tend to get into a lot of trouble TOGETHER lol
as you know from being a friend of mine for some time now lol

With my children yes, I sure wish I was a close to my brothers and sisters as I use to be. Now that we have all grown and have our own families and have all moved away from home and live everywhere from California to Georgia we are not as close as we used to be. I miss them so much, but with their busy life's when I call they do not always have time for me and you never know how much time you will really have. I wish we could talk daily even if it was only to say I love you and I am thinking of you and miss you. Or hey remember the time...
I sure do miss those days. Funny I could not wait to grow up and now I wish I could go back and tuck a few more precious memories away in my heart to keep. Ah such is the life of the old folks...

I am close with the relatives who would be friends anyway!!!
If I feel they are friends, I am close to them. Otherwise, I just serve formalities and social conditioning.

OH YES- I have six aunts, thirty or so cousins, second cousins, five uncles, two sets of grandparents, great grandparents, oh geez, I have a ton of family and I love them all! I have a cousin I call my twin because we have the same birthday!

With age you will learn that it is family that will always be there for you through thick and thin.
Everyone has issues with their family but in times of crisis we all find out who is by our side.

considring the fact that approx. 90% of my family(which is quite large) live within less than a half hour away. we are a very close knit family. just try screwing with one of us sometime and find out what happens I DARE YOU
