A common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to get a householder to "convert". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!
That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.
(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

I have no idea why some Christians are so pushy. They just are. I think when certain Christian groups have a Jewish person in their midst, they may feel as if they are getting extra 'points' if they convert someone who is Jewish. Think about it, if Jewish people starting converting to Christianity on mass, it would give Christianity so much more credence.
You need to sit down and concentrate on an efficient and strategic way to combat the pushy Christians that you are encountering, because they are not going away.

I am so sorry you feel as you do. Obviously the Christians you have encountered are not approaching you with LOVE, but think they have to COVERT you.
Jews were chosen by God to be the ones through whom Jesus would come, a PURE race from Abraham, actually from Adam. His ancestroy is traceable all the way from Genesis.
YES, you ALWAYS will be Jewish, AMEN, I LOVE the Jewish people... for me YOU are PROOF of the EXISTENCE of God! Your race is the ONLY one to survive intact AS A RACE from Abraham!!! There is NO other peoples like you!
Satan HATES your race, because God used you to DEFEAT Satan, thus your race has been hated and persecuted for CENTURIES.
Read ISAIAH 53. You will read a description of your Messiah IF you are among the Jewish people looking for the Messiah... read of him there!
God Bless, and be HAPPY you are who you are! AMEN

I think it is wonderful to be a Jewish person. God has always had a plan for you and Israel. You are greatly blessed. You have not 'dropped the ball" to me, God is still working on your behalf, He will never turn His back on you and will protect you to the end. He loves you so much. What an honor to be able to say that you are Jewish.

Jesus fulfilled the very words that the prophets spoke. The Torah or Old Testament speak of the coming Messiah. Therefore, since Jesus fulfilled every single prophecy concerning the Messiah and backed it up, He proved to be the One spoken of in Scripture.
The Jews didn't "drop the ball" they are simply completed when they realize and believe that Jesus is the chosen Messiah.

They are concerned for you and your soul. I don't know of any Christian who keeps score of the number of contacts made or other statistics.
Yes, every prophet and apostle was Jewish and they would tell you so. Should you read the New Testament, you would see time and again their appeal to their heritage, and their new faith in Jesus as Messiah. They believed it. You have the choice to believe, or not. It's up to you.

Why don't you tell those Christians that. Leave the Christians that don't bother you alone also. Not every Christian is pushy. Don't put a group of people in one category.

I am sorry that you have encountered such pushy Christians. Just please be careful not to lump us all in the same group. I am a Christian who does not judge someone else's religion, or lack therof. I know more Christian people who feel like I do than the "pushy" people you have met.
Have a blessed day!

Catholics are not like that.I don't know why some other Christians are pushy.
God's Mother Mary said ,quote:"One cannot truly believe,be a Christian,if he does not respect other religions as well. You do not really believe in God if you ridicule other Religions."

Two of my near and dear are Jewish. Wonderful friends, life-long. Would never dream of insulting them or you, or, for that matter, anyone for their belief systems. By giving others the right to believe as they wish, I get the right to my own. Thanks!
