Personally I like to ski during this time with my family. I live in Texas, but sometimes we take trips to Colorado or Utah to find a good skiing loft. What's your fancy?

What kind of of music your favorite fictional characters like?
Take your favorite movie, book or tv show and then think about the main characters and what music you think they like.
Here, I'll start. My favorite movie is "National Treasure."
Ben and Abigail probably listen to classical.
Riley strikes me as Indie, with maybe some techno occasionally.
Ian, I'd say he's....rock.
And the one FBI dude who I can't think of his name...he probably listens to classical and oldies.

Comeon its hilarious that people , even well educated people sometimes, in the 21st Century believe in creationism. "because its written in the bilble" come on people think about it! The bible was written over a period of centuries by many different people who didnt have any scientific answers so made up stories.

Its good to have 'faith', i have faith in a higher being of somekind, call it god, call it the spagettii monster or whatever.

Its like some people have forgotten the ability to reason or think for themselves!

The pats really need to watch themselves these next weeks.

First they're playing the jets, who got this whole cheating idea started to begin with. There's no love lost between mangina and belichick, and the whole pats organization has an axe to grind for becoming the most hated team ever. If you don't think that one's going to get ugly you've got another thing coming.

Then, they're up against the Miami, who has the perfect season record. If they make it past the jets, miami's going to be one fired up team. Miami was the last regular season loss the pats had, and it was a 21-0 disgrace. Any Given Sunday.

The giants could be playing for a playoff spot, so that's one to watch also, and if the pats make it by the jets and the fins, they'll have the extra motivation of beating the 'undefeated' team.

What do _you_ think. I'm not really interested in any answers related to cheating. That's last years news.

My very reliable 1999 Ford Contour SE (front-wheel drive) has taken a turn for the worse this week! It started out with a bad tire, then a wire, plugs, serpentine belt, all at once. When the tire blew, I took it to a reliable mechanic in town (recommended by several people) and he told me that the tire rod ends need to be replaced soon but I can wait a few weeks until payday. The next day it wouldn't start properly, so I took it to the mechanic that services all my employer's vehicles. He fixed everything (fuel and air filters, new plugs, a bad wire, and a bad belt) but told me that when I go home next week (I'm away at college) I should have one of the wheel bearings replaced. I have 117,000 miles on my car, and until now, I have not needed any big repairs. I know the filters and that are just a matter of maintenance, but are the tire rod ends and bad wheel bearing a sign of a bigger problem with my axles or something? Any estimates on cost to fix it?

a baller in my school always hearts people and gets in fights
i saw him making fun of a poor student in school for a three days (if i were in that student position i would choose suicide than going back to school)
later he came to that student and ask him to forgive him for wht he done , he did his homeworks and projects , he helps him outside and inside .
the baller isn't dating or even talking to girls , he is very agrssive very dangerous ( student affraid of him) and he is very good in math physics chimics and languages . sometimes he is very nice guy and sometmes he is ????
when it comes to emotionel stuff he is so cold
what is wrong with this guy?

When my wife and I get into a heated argument she calls my mother and says the worst things about me. She tells my mother in front of my face that I need psychological counseling etc. She never tells how she contributes to the argument. Now, She has her own mother that she can talk to, and friends and she has absolutely no relationship with my mother. I asked her why and she says because she needed someone to talk to.

I've been recently told I have a fatty liver with inflammation but the outlook and severity differ in different doctors. I've had one doctor say its SERIOUS while others say its MILD. Some say its treatable (only weight loss, diet, exercise) and reversible some say its not as easy. Who should I trust after seeing a multitude of doctors? Problem is I think maybe I should seek an asian doctor instead. Being asian, I was told that this is a condition that is prevalent in asians, even skinny ones whereas this condition for caucasians happens more to the obese-morbidly obese. My line of thinking is that asian doctors understand "our" phsyiology much better and probably have experience treating asians with this condition since most asians tend to like seeing asian doctors. Is this a good idea? Because I've been getting a lot of questions unanswered from "caucasian" doctors I dont' think they really know how to treat me. A lot of wishy-washy responses.

I had the weirdest and wildest conversation with a Ron Paul supporter last week . Amongst other crazy notions , she said that it's clear that the media doesn't want him to win and therefore "EVERY media outlet is lying when they post poll results which show he has single-digit support" . Many on this site have made that very same claim . So I asked her. . . . "What if , AFTER the initial primaries, Ron Paul only garners a single-digit VOTING support ? What then ? Will you then admit that it is you who have been fooled and lied to ?"

Cmon Ron Paul people , wake-up .

I'm on a short visit to Japan. I have a JR pass and want to do the best hiking I can. I don't mind cold weather or snow but I didn't bring any climbing or mountaineering gear so I need pretty mild outdoor activities. Hi,
Well in the end of Oct I had sex with a condom and birth control. I was taking antibiotics so I heard that this decreases the effectiveness of the birth control. Then about 5 days later I started my period and it seemed a little shorter . . not too much though. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative but I could have tested too soon. So then I got my period again in the end of november about 26 days after my previous period. I started a day or two early but it ran the full lenth but it stopped and then i had slight pink discharge afterwards. I took another pregnancy test and it came out negative. Is there still a big chance I could be pregnant. I am just afraid that I am one of those cases that won't find out until ike 5 months along.
