Haven't really thought about what I call them right now but given my druthers I would probably call the elephant Jim if it's male and Betty if female. Horace seems to sit better with a male rhino and Felicity with a female. Collectively I would name them after 'The Last Detective' and call them all Dangerous. Certainly I would not call them late for a meal. Does that leave the whole lot named as Jim, Betty, Horace and Felicity Tachiderm.

Well there are several species of each genera. Usually we call one either an African elephant or Asian elephant in layman terms, would be better to use the scientific names. Same goes for the rhino. Currently there are 5 species/subspecies of rhino.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for here, but both male and female are called bull and cow, respectively. Hope that helps.
