The simplest way to do this is to average the
2 rationals
We get ½(a/b + c/d) = ½(ad + bc)/bd.
Example: Find a rational number between
1/2 + 3/4.
1/2 + 3/4 = 5/4
1/2*5/4 = 5/8.
5/8 is between 1/2 and 3/4.
