Skeptics are claiming that a bias in the surface temperature record is showing the current global warming to be twice as great as it is in reality:

Yet skeptics also say that because the surface is warming faster than the troposphere (which in reality is uncertain at this point), this indicates that humans are not causing the current warming.

Well, here is the current data:

One satellite measurement shows greater warming in the troposphere than the surface, the other shows less. However, if the surface temperature record is wrong, then the troposphere is certainly warming faster than the surface, which confirms that humans are causing the warming.

So which is really warming faster?

I have a 91 Geo Prizm. Lately, when I am turning, my car has been making a loud screeching noise. Interestingly enough, it doesn't happen every time I turn, just when I first start up the car. The first few turns will result in screeching noises, but after it's "warmed up" the screeching goes away when I'm turning.

My power steering fluid level is filled.

Any ideas?

I sucked my thumb as a child and found it to be very comforting in stressful times and when I was going to sleep. There are so many parents out there that don't think you should let your children suck their thumbs or pacifiers. I am just wondering if I should encourage my children if they like to suck their thumb.

I had a root canal and it didn't work. I just went through this with another tooth on the opposite side and in the end, it still had to come out. I am using an herbal medicine to take the pain away so that I can still eat on that side while the other side is still healing. What happens if I choose to not remove this tooth? Will infection move into my blood stream after a while?
