Reading the Bible usually does the trick.

And it's spelled "atheists".

I feel that more Christians are becomming Atheist cause their religion, Christianity cant fulfill the big hole they have in their hearts. When you feel that you have some unanswered questions in your life and your religion which you have put your faith upon cant seem to answer them, you could feel lost. That would in turn cause you to question the presence of God, etc. Do you know that many Muslims are also becomming Atheist? I believe this is because they do not practise Islam completely. They are born as a Muslim but live according to the Western rules. As such, they fail to learn the essence of Islam. I belive that Islam is a true way of life, it completes a person, it enlightens your soul ...Its just that there are too many fanatic Muslims out there who make it difficult for non-Muslims to realize what an amazing religion Islam is.

1) Freedom to become atheists if they choose
(I'd guess that Richard Dawkins might be volently treated if he had lived in a moslem majority country, then come out as an atheist and written the books he has written)
2) The fact that christian faith is very supernatural. A person really has to believe in Christ, then they get included in God's hidden Kingdom. Most 'christians', as muslims would perceive things are culturally western rather than genuine people of faith in the Lord Jesus, they have a lot of christian heritage, and all sorts of beliefs - there is no real control in the West on what people can believe (as it should be I think).
3) The presence of Satan working through false religions and philosophies (one of which is atheism) to deceive people. Satan is keen to prevent people believing the Christian way, but not so bothered about other creeds, since they are not saving faiths according to the New Testament teaching.

Well, I was raised Christian. When I was a teenager, I stopped believing in Christianity, because a lot of things did not make sense; and when I asked the teacher, he really could not give me satisfactory answers to my questions. At that time, I also stopped believing in God; I was Atheist for almost ten years.

Then I started reading different things about different philosophies, and found something that did make perfect sense to me, and rang very true in my heart (Vedic philosophy, with its teachings about karma, reincarnation, the evolution of the soul, etc).

Now I have an unshakeable belief in God, and it is such a huge part of who I am. It has made me a much better person, more understanding and compassionate, and it is just always there now, the pull to become a better, wiser, more loving person.

If someone is an Atheist, it just means that they have not yet found their path to God... In time, they will... God does not leave anyone behind... :)

Age would not be counted. actually, the greater youthful you are the greater possibly you replaced your faith as a results of look rigidity or user-friendly revolt. that's uncomplicated to manufacture motives to go away your faith, fairly whilst your friends talk approximately motives that they overheard each and all of the time. in my view i'm a agnostic deist, and don't care what faith you're, so are not getting the incorrect concept. Fundamentalists declare God burns homos in hell, yet there is not any biblical info to returned their declare. interior the classic Kingdom of Israel, from which we earnings the books of deuteronomy and leviticus, they mandatory adult adult males to be today with the intention to advance their numbers. understand that conflict replaced right into a actuality of existence returned then, so the greater adult adult males that they had, the greater freedoms that they had. with the intention to maintain all adult adult males today, they made homosexuality punishable with the help of dying. After some stonings, not many could act on impulse. The thoughts that have been made have been from a bronze age attitude on some-what actual events and basic phenomenon made divine. returned then dark clouds might have been taken as an indication from God, so any reader could could study the thoughts with skepticism. case in point: Noah's flood. there are a number of thoughts a pair of flood, yet not a international-huge one. This replaced right into a basic legend that Moses, being Egyptian-born and knowledgeable, placed into Genesis. do not carry on with others whilst determining your perception. in case you carry on with your friends the two to fundamentalism or to anti-theism, you somewhat have not got any administration over your self. the two factors are incorrect.

The word of God says: “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. Although they know God, they did not glorify Him as God nor did they thank Him, but they became empty-headed in their reasonings and their unintelligent heart became darkened.

It's not a trend, people shift and make changes in their life. Some atheists become Christians while some Christians decide to become atheist. It's an ebb and flow that reflects human indecision.

For me it was realizing that the bible didn't make much sense. From there I started asking question and the answer I got was "you just have to have faith". Well that didn't answer anything at all so I started to study. I realized that all religions throughout history pretty much met the same goals. Different deities, same junk.

Real Christians don't become atheists. God doesn't allow anyone or anything to take them away from Him. Jesus said, "I know my sheep. No one can snatch them from my hand."
