I went to the doctor today and made another appointment for next wednesday if he doesnt come by then to set up a date to induce labor. If i do have to induce labor...how does that work? Do you usually pick a date or does the hospital?? Thanks for your help.

I live in Mexico and water heaters aren't always available as is in my case, so I've purchased an electric shower head that has to be wired. In other words, 3 wires come out of it, 2 white and a ground. I want to know the safest and best way to wire it. Does anybody know?

I'm just curious. I know it could be incredibly dangerous, but I think it would completely be worth the risk. I'd certainly feel like I had a more fulfilling life if I got to see living dinosaurs interacting with each other in front of my eyes.

I was looking at some magazines like Jet, Ebony, Essence, Vibe Vixen, King, XXL, and Sista2Sista. I was looking at the women inside the hair ads and some of the models and celebirties and I noticed that most of the Black models actresses all looked the same: they either had light skin or long and striaght relaxed hair. What is up? I wrote a essay about this for my African American studies class about how Black people prefer light skin over dark skin. I myself, I have very "African" features, I thick natrual hair, chocolate skin, and a hourglass body. I'm just staring to appreaciate my Afro-latino hertage and my skin color. It's hard because there are barely any dark skinned actresses and you always see dark skinned women in Black movies and vidoes potrayed as the villain or the hoe. I'm tried of it. why can't the dark skinned girl be the love interest of the pretty girl? Why do we have to relax our hair to assmilate? I think natural hair is so much better and easier to take care of.

And everytime he passes the receptionist he stands right next to her and inhales a lung full of air saying "as always, your hair smell lovely this morning". After a few weeks of the same routine, Jane the receptionist starts to get really pissed off and decides to complain to the HR department and file a law suit for sexual harrassment, the senior HR officer says that just because a man passes you a compliment on how your hair smells nice does not constitute sexual harrassment to which Jane replies "it does when the person doing the smelling is a dwarf".

Since we can't censor derogatory and demeaning words like "bit*h," "wh*re," and "c*nt" out of our language some third wave feminists say we should try to change their meaning in everyday speech. Have you personally seen this shift in the meaning of these words in your life? When someone calls a woman a bit*h or a wh*re do they ALWAYS mean it in the derogatory way, or can it sometimes be a compliment, an unconscious attempt to change the meaning of the word?

I do most everything, Christmas cards, shopping, baking, cooking, decorating inside the house, plans for Christmas Day/dinner, tree trimming, etc.
My husband does the outdoor lights/decorations and puts the tree in the stand and the lights on.

How about your house?

Just curious if it's usually a woman in your house who does most everything.

It's the Spring of 1957 and Paddy goes to pick up his date. He's a pretty hip guy with his own car. When he goes to the front door, the girl's father answers and invites him in.

"Ciara's not ready yet, so why don't you have a seat?" he says.

"That's cool," says Paddy.

Ciara's father asks Paddy what they're planning to do. Paddy replies politely that they will probably just go to the soda shop or a movie.

Ciara's father responds, "Why don't you two go out and screw? I hear all the kids are doing it."

Naturally, this comes as quite a surprise to Paddy, so he asks Ciara's dad to repeat it.

"Yeah," says Ciara's father, "Ciara really likes to screw; she'll screw all night if we let her!"

Well, this just made Paddy's eyes light up, and his plan for the evening was beginning to look pretty good.

A few minutes later, Ciara comes downstairs in her little poodle skirt and announces that she's ready to go. Almost breathless with anticipation, Paddy escorts his date out the front door.

About 20 minutes later, Ciara rushes back into the house, slams the door behind her, and screams at her father: "DARN IT, DADDY! IT'S CALLED THE TWIST!"

I plan on making my mom and dad Christmas Breakfast ...I plan on making Scrambled eggs and toast ...because thats all i know how to make !

My mom and dad are very picky ...THey don't like pancakes , or any type of meat for breakfast .. such as sausage and bacon ..they hate that ! ....I was thinking of adding fruit to their plate ..what kind of fruit should i add ..i was thinking strawberry's and something else ...delicious ? please help !!!!!!!! of course, it's a quicktime shitt, but I'm using iTunes, i mean, i WAS using iTunes, until a quicktime popped out with an error, and everything goes to crap! i tried installing newer versions if itunes, but it's the same problem... and i CAN'T uninstall quicktime, at the end of uninstallation, a window pops out saying a fatal error occured, and rolls back action. it's a pain in the a s s !! please help, tell me what should i do...
