The one thing that has gotten bigger at Christmas time is none other than the popular figure that gets more recognition and glory than Jesus ever gets and that is Santa Claus. He gets the attention, the movies, the commercials, the thanks for gift giving and the list goes on and on. What must Jesus, our King in heaven think about all the attention given to such a person on what people falsely claim to be the day of his birth? He is not amused.
It is like people celebrating your birthday and everyone gets gifts except for you. You are totally ignored and someone else gets all the attention and the day they choose to do this is not even on the day you were actually born.
That is one reason why Jesus never said to celebrate his birth. Other reasons include all the greed, drunkeness, immorality, theft, lies, pagan traditions and commercialism that Christmas is all about. The Bible condemns all these things and Christians should have nothing to do with it.

No, I don't believe that. I think the opposite actually. If you notice most companies stores and even people don't call it Christmas any longer. It's now called Holiday. Happy Holidays, Holiday Tree, Holiday Party. My company is having a "Holiday Party" this year, I ask which holiday it is they are celebrating, the decorations will be Chistmas like you won't see a minora there and such, however they will still refrain from the word Christmas...

Oh the true meaning of Christmas, to me is Our saviors birthday is celebrated, I no that it holds controversial to some , But oh to me, it is simply to remind me that a king was born, to come save me from all I have face in this wicked cruel world, Dose not matter to Jesus if we are wrong own the day he was born Just" as long as we let it know that a King come to save us.Even the ones who don't no Him .Christ will never go away not even in element , For all who adore Him can make their own elements so ,As long as the Grinch's of the world, try to change Christmas and try to take the true meaning from it , I worry not because I trust in the One who was sent to save me. Own Our Christmas day, Jesus doesn't care when we celebrate Him He is Proud we do it. And all who try to change it, will bring sorrow to the world. Something that brings such joy to all Why would any one want to Change it. God Bless And Merry Christmas to all. For I adore the king that came day .And it hurts me to know that some are trying" to do away with it Him And learn the true meaning Christmas, Jesus say any thing that is of good I am ....Satan,s children trying to turn Joy and cheerful love and giving caring and etc, into just an element thing. I am sorry but this is so weird to me, People like you , what spirit leads you.

Less than 1% of Japan is Christian and even they celebrate it!
Christmas is not about Jesus any more (actually, what do I mean "any more" it came from the pagans to begin with!)
Christmas is about giving gifts to make others happy and about eating a large meal and being thankful for it and everything else that you have.

I know I shouldn't answer this way but the English major in me will not allow me to read this question without saying, "more bigger". Wow. Just wow.
