Christ calls you just as you are. You then submit your life unto Him, and He will clean up your life by changing the desires of your heart. Obedience to Christ is a must, otherwise, you are wasting your time.

NONE WHATSOEVER! God will do that for you. There is an expression "When God catches a fish, He always cleans it"
Just make SURE that in you heart you truly believe that Jesus died for the forgiveness of your sins and ask Him to come into your life as Lord and Saviour, forgive your sins and take control of your life. Amen
That simple prayer will change your life for the better FOREVER. It surely changed mine.
Then don't worry about it. Start reading the Bible daily and getting down on your knees in prayer and communion with him. He will start communicating with you and you will learn to know His voice.
May God richly bless you as you draw ever closer to Him.

I was born in this religion.. who claims to be the only one that was founded by Jesus CHRIST... change? how can God change your life? the people who convert from catholicism to any protestant sect.. they recieve a washed brain... and they convert themselves too religious and try to hear music from their own religion.. they follow a Bible without any tradition... some protestant sects spread the hatred againts the catholicism..

I am already a Christian, and I would be the same if I were not one.
I would still follow The Golden Rule. The only difference between me and non-believers is that I believe.
I am a good, moral person who does her best.

yes. you would change whatever is causing you to sin. one should try to be like Jesus. you should change your thinking to ways that are holy and just. there are many passages in the bible that talk about what a person should be like as a christian. 2 Corinthians is a great place to start

Sure. I'd have to start hating anyone who believed differently and anyone who is gay. I'd have to start telling people that if they don't follow my beliefs they will burn in hell. I;d have to start building huge. elaborate churches while millions of children go hungry. I would begin to think that I could do anything at all and just say "I'm so sorry" and still go to heaven with all of the others who did hateful, harmful things but believed in the "right" god which is all that matters.
Bleah.
I would go on but there are far too many hateful, self serving changes to mention.

As a new Christian, I can tell you how I changed.
I had freewill. I chose to change. I didn't have to.
I no longer swear. I no longer engage in premarital sex. I go to church and Bible study. I now read the Bible daily. I try not to wear enticing clothes. I wear a cross. I seem to have a distaste for most secular music now. There's some.

Well, I would have to be brain damaged in some way. I wouldn't get to sleep in on Sundays, and I would have to find a way to smile knowingly when another Christian is talking.

yes, I would have to get a labotomy in order to lower my mental faculties enough to buy the whole religion thing.

My fun would be over; too many things are a "sin". Some sects even say wearing make-up, dancing, wearing pants is unacceptable. No can do.
