A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's
internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must
now be terminated.


of course, it's a quicktime shitt, but I'm using iTunes, i mean, i WAS using iTunes, until a quicktime popped out with an error, and everything goes to crap! i tried installing newer versions if itunes, but it's the same problem... and i CAN'T uninstall quicktime, at the end of uninstallation, a window pops out saying a fatal error occured, and rolls back action. it's a pain in the a s s !! please help, tell me what should i do...

Well QT is dangerous ...try another player I recommend GOM player which is fabulous!! I have this one handle all of my media files.

I found this link that might help answer your question...but in the mean time get rid of the QT and download GOM Player (it's free)

No where do you mention Repairing Permissions
nor do you mention running Software Update that have security fixes, as well as Quicktime Updates.
I also find that running Macjanitor, Cache Out X, and Onyx are also a plus to get your system back on track.

Try using the QuickTime installer to "Change or Repair" the installation.

you should call the people at apple they have a customer service line & tell them the problem they should help because it is there weird program quicktime that is doing that to you..

Sounds like your program is totally fu**ed

try uninstalling, and then download the latest version online.

ok, dont freak out. to redelete it put the icon in the trash then go back into the trash and revive it to reduce fatal errors

um... if its not letting you deleate the software i would suggest you go to www.download.com and search for powerful cookies... (it has a file shreeder that will deleate any file on your computer...) about what i think the prolbem is..... QUICK TIME SUCKS.... and there downloads for updates are not SAFE!!!

If it's corrupted, go to the C drive and delete it. That's all you can do.
