Well, I stepped on a nail yesterday. My aunt is a nurse and she said that if I've had a tetanus shot in the past 10 years, then i dont need one. I had one back in 1998. I dont need another one, do I?

well i have a question....when i turn on my computer. it start to load windows and then it shows the blue screen quickly and restart the comp...and it only happen with the SATA drives...i tried the old ones and it worked...then i took other SATA hard drive and it didnt work (same prob.) i tried to connect it to another SATA port...but still the same problem when i insert the windows CD and try to format the comp. it says that it cant find any hard disks...so...well i thought maybe something wrong with the Motherboard but its not that cuz the old hard disk i mean the one with the IDE connector...still work...so does any one have any ideas on how to fix it? any thing will be helpfull...thx =)

Some people need a reason to believe. Is that faith or free will?

One should believe for the sake of believing, not because god commands or asks us so. Otherwise, what is the point? Surely a great god has no need for a pledge of fealty or a fan base. God asks us to give up our human pride. Should we not demand the same from god?

Hypothetically speaking (assume here for a moment if you can fathom that concept), if Jesus said, "Follow me if you must. Be a good person if you must. Grow in spirit through me if you must. But if you believe in me and accept me into your heart I will damn you to an eternity in hell." You keep saying it is faith that is important, not the heavenly reward. Would you still have faith in god?

OK, this is the end of the hypothetical. Did you make it this far and can you answer?

Country music lyrics always say, "Georgia"?

I am a DJ in the country music genre. Does anyone have any idea why the state of Georgia is mentioned in about 15 songs we have?

I understand the pride in the south, but other well populated states like Texas and Alabama aren't sung about half as much. Can't be a regional thing, right? Because even the Carolinas aren't dropped as much!

I just don't get it.

Did you know about Christmas trees and mold?

Apparently my boss's wife suffers from allergies that get really bad close to Christmas. They figured out it's the trees. She always want the tree put up the weekend of Thanksgiving, so my Christmas the mold issue is a real problem. Did you know about this?

Is it wrong to want to overhear gossip, even if you don't participate in the gossiping?

What if you overhear it from someone sitting around you? I admit that I like hearing gossip. But, I don't participate in it. And, if someone comes to me and starts saying things about someone, I say, "sorry, I don't like talking about people," or I just stare at them and not say anything - not with a mean face or anything. But, the fact that I don't respond makes them feel bad about gossiping. lol.

Why should the playing feild be leveled?

Why should great franchises be penalized because other teams are not willing
to spend the money on scouts and player development. I say if you are not willing to develop the talent and spend the money necessary to hold on to it you deserve to lose. Teams Like the Yankees have caught a bad rap for being willing to spend the money to keep the talent they have and to upgrade problem positions when necessary . I see no problem with it anyone that does is a hater. Don't blame the Yankees ,Celtics,49ers and Maple Leaves of the world blame your cheapscate owners.
