people here have a hard time driving in normal weather...I dread snow...dread it with a passion.
I need to buy myself a helicopter, me-thinks

Well, snow is slippery and cumbersome. One generally has to drive slower and be more cautious of other drivers. Also tire tread, front wheel drive vs rear wheel drive, windshield solvent...all play a factor.

Brains and common sense are buried under the added task! 4 wheel drive does not mean 4 wheel stop and some idiots aren't aware of that!

It is like everyone forgets how to drive! I hate driving in the snow b/c of the other people. Especially the ones in their 4 x 4 SUV's that are scared to death driving 30 mph. WTF???

The traction with the road is greatly reduced, and that prevents control of the car.
