What is a good tasting turkey bacon and a substitute for a hamburger. I need to start a lo-fat/cholst. diet?

The alternatives can be so expensive that it would be great to know if some of the substitutes taste better than others.

Flea medications do not work on my dog... any other things that you have used and it was proven to work?

I have bought my dog many different types of flea medications, and none of them have worked on her fleas. She is an inside dog, but is outside for about 30 -45 minutes a day for potty time. My mother or me do not get bit at all, but my doggie has so many on her. Do you have any remedies that I could use on her that will actually work? I used creams, dips, shampoos, drips, etc, and nothing works, so I would be so grateful if you could help. I can't stand to see my poor dog always miserable from the itching!!

How do I find out who's been making pranks call in the middle of the night and hang up as soon as I pick up?

This person calls my house every 30 - 40 min. starting around 4 am until 8 am. I have caller ID but it shows up as PRIVATE CALLER. My phone company can only trace the phone numbers that I've made not the incoming ones. The police department can only help me if the caller does something more than just call and hang up.

These calls are keeping my family up at night and I don't want to turn off the phone or put it in answer machine mode since I want to be available if my aging parents need to reach me in case of emergency.

We don't have enemies, I guess it's some pranksters that have nothing better to do.

I ordered a service to block it but I like to find out who this person is that's harassing me and my family.

Is online games a waste of time?

I have played a lot of online games, eaven world of warcraft. But there seem that all online games doesent have an end. So you can just play and play, but never get finish. So, is it a waste of time to play online, or should i maybe play roleplaying based games. I'm 15 so i just think about i will move out about like 8 years or so i think..not quite sure. Therefore i think that i will never finish an online game annyway, get to the highest lv and etc. Anny ideas?

In St. Louis, what do the four digit license plates mean?

I moved to St. Louis recently and have noticed that many cars have personalized license plates with only four numbers on them (e.g. the plate just reads 2764 or whatever). A friend told me they're sort of a status symbol and I've since noticed they are usually on nicer cars. Does anyone know what exactly they mean, or how it started? Thanks!

Celsus, a 2nd century Greek philosopher, accused Jesus of having "invented his birth from a virgin," and upbraids Jesus with being "born in a certain Jewish village, of a poor woman of the country, who gained her subsistence by spinning, and who was turned out of doors by her husband, a carpenter by trade, because she was convicted of adultery; that after being driven away by her husband, and wandering about for a time, she disgracefully gave birth to Jesus, an illegitimate child" Celsus wrote that the father was "a certain soldier named Panthera (sometimes known as Pandira)." After his birth, Celsus writes that Jesus "having hired himself out as a servant in Egypt on account of his poverty, and having there acquired some miraculous powers, on which the Egyptians greatly pride themselves, returned to his own country, highly elated on account of them, and by means of these proclaimed himself a God."

This view is further supported by Talmudic tradition, which tells of a man named Ben-Stada - meaning "Son of Pandira". He was "on account of his poverty was hired out to go to Egypt; that while there he acquired certain (magical) powers which Egyptians pride themselves on possessing." According to the Talmud, Ben-Stada learned magic in Egypt and performed his miracles by means of it.
