Funny how intelligence becomes accurate only if it fits an agenda. You are absolutely right.

Lots of things in my past affect me today. Its really bothersome and I shouldn't let things get to me but I do. A certain thing will trigger a bunch of depressing memories. I just try to hide my whole past in general. I don't want any sympathy. I don't want anyone to make excuses for my stupid mistakes and most of all I don't want the looks. No one used to care about me so now when people care I don't take it well. I can't deal with the emotions and I try to push people away or hide most of what I've had to deal with... because once someone knows they think of you differently. :( I just am afraid that I will make a wrong choice and they will be dissappointed. People who care means I have to stay here and be 'good' and I hate it. Then knowing what I've had to put up with they blame it on my old problems, write it off and give me another chance. I don't want another chance or anything extra because of any of it. Everyone has a sob story. Regarding your story~ I'm sorry about your kidney infection. Talk to your dad if it really bothers you. There is not much else you can do about something that has already happened. Just look to improve the future.

not really swallowing, just picking out their favorite parts ignoring all the other parts of the report that they dont see as important like.
A. We judge with high confidence that in fall 2003, Tehran halted its nuclear weapons
program (1)
(1) For the purposes of this Estimate, by “nuclear weapons program” we mean Iran’s nuclear weapon design
and weaponization work and covert uranium conversion-related and uranium enrichment-related work; we
do not mean Iran’s declared civil work related to uranium conversion and enrichment.
"We judge with high confidence that the halt lasted at least several years. (Because of
intelligence gaps discussed elsewhere in this Estimate, however, DOE and the NIC
assess with only moderate confidence that the halt to those activities represents a halt
to Iran's entire nuclear weapons program.)"
we also assess with moderate-to-high confidence that Tehran at a minimum is
keeping open the option to develop nuclear weapons."
"We judge with moderate confidence that the
earliest possible date Iran would be technically
capable of producing enough highly enriched
uranium (HEU) for a weapon is late 2009."
"despite the continued halt in the nuclear weapons
program. Iran made significant progress in 2007 installing centrifuges at Natanz, but we
judge with moderate confidence it still faces significant technical problems operating
them."
"We continue to assess with low confidence that Iran probably has imported at least
some weapons-usable fissile material, but still judge with moderate-to-high confidence it
has not obtained enough for a nuclear weapon. We cannot rule out that Iran has acquired
from abroad—or will acquire in the future—a nuclear weapon or enough fissile material
for a weapon. Barring such acquisitions, if Iran wants to have nuclear weapons it would
need to produce sufficient amounts of fissile material indigenously"

Actually, the CIA prepared a report about Iraq prior to the invasion, it was ambiguous and not conclusive about wmd and ties to al qaeda by Iraq. Only 6 senators even bothered to read the report. The white house ignored the ambiguities in its deceitful drum beat to go to war.

I think Bush and so called intelligent services are actors. They have lied to American people, doing it over and over, changing their views over and over. Do you know for what?!
But anyway, Bush does not care what intelligence say. Just see what he said today!

Good point! They will believe any report that agrees with their political stance, but any report that doesn't is just fictional war mongering to them.
What's true matters less to them than the political ramifications

Just the ones left of center aisle. They are waiting for Al Franken or Michael Moore to tell them what to think about it.

he did the same thing with Iraq....make a mistake once and it might be a mistake....make the same mistake twice and you are willifully making the mistake....if people think that Bush did not purposefully make a case for war with Iran, they are the most gullible people on the planet.
