I've been drinking nothing but bottled water, and I've lost a few lbs. My blood pressure is healthier, and I feel a little better, but when I went to the doctor, he told me I didn't get enough calcium intake, and that this was bad for the environment. He knows Ihate doing things that are unresourceful, but I recycle, and when my neices come over, we reuse them by making weird vases, pencil holders, and other crafts. I drink about 5 bottles a day, so how am i being unresourceful. How is this bad for me?

i am not religeous i have a belief system though.. but thats another point

i live my life according to my own morals, i stand up for what i belive in, i protest on many fronts including gay rights despite not being gay myself, i am pacifistic as far as possible and i try to forgive people who offend me, i accept everyone as equal regardless of race, religeon, sexuality, gender etc

in short im a good person (or at least i try to be)

but.. heres the kicker i dont belive in god
i am completley unrepentant for this
and i dont regret any past sins for its from them that i learn and grow as a person

given some of the people i defend and some of my views are well shall we say less that your bog standart christian

does this mean if there is a god he dislikes me?

if so... i mean... just what the hell is his problem

I'm 30, hubbie is 39. Combined income is 70 before taxes. We put about 500 a month into his company retirement- some sort of IRA.

We goofed off and saved nothing for years, travelling and all that. The past three years all of our savings have gone towards our house and his parents' retirement.

We own a house, have about 40K more to pay on the mortgage, but also will need to get a new roof and basic repair work, so probably you should think of it as 50K.

We have no other debt at all. We are in good health, have good insurance through my husband.

I have no retirement income through my job. So our only retirement income right now is through my husbands job- the 500 a month.

No other bills. All of our spare income goes towards paying off the house. We should be done with that in about 2 years.

So, what should we do when the house is paid? Good book recommendations? We can live on his income, so we will have about 20K a year to play with to put towards retirement.

I personally am atheist, and believe in evolution. How do you disprove:

skeletons of early humans are changing through time and fossil records?

and why do so many people believe a book that some one said was made by God? you cannot prove that the bible is the word of god, and that god just "made" the universe out of nothing. Also, the bible says that the Earth is 6,000 years old. that is bullshit because we have carbon dating that can prove we are almost 6 BILLION years old, and light from 10 BILLION light-year-away galaxies proves that the light from them has been in space longer than the earth has been here!!! please, prove to me that there is a "creator" that spontaneously "crated" us out of nothing.

For the sake of this excercise... let's assume to be true, that an all knowing supreme being created all the heavens and the earth.

Our perception of time is relative to our physics. So, let's also assume that the supreme being that created all, is not bound to our concept of time. Fair?

This supreme being would be able to see my future, as well as it could see my past; not being bound to my time.

How can I be granted the gift of freewill; the ability to change my path along time, if there is a supreme being that can see my future - and ultimately the choices I was going to make?

She lies her parents & bunks her classes to meet me. She is full time with me.
But i think her friends are brainwashing her as they might not like her to have a good looking & good earning guy.
Further, sometimes she does'nt reply to my SMS & i came to know that she was with those friends at that time.
Through one of her talks i came to know that her friend forced her to make program with them on that time when we meet usually.
I disagreed & she came to meet me.
Now, her friends bought into picture a boy who is a school friend of her & they have joined sunday tuition i.e., the day when we don't meet.
My GF i think is avoiding me as i told her to stay away from that boy. I told her this line because he had proposed her earlier when he knew that she had a boyfriend but he did'nt knew that it was me.
I think this girl gives more importance to her schoolfriends who are still wit her in college.

What you think can she be a good wife?
