Okay, my Great-Aunt (by marriage) wrote a wonderful book back in the early 1990's. I had a copy of the book and just a couple of years ago, picked it up and read it. I was so inspired by the book that I thought it would make a great movie. I wrote a script for the book to submit to a film-making company...(dreaming big). Anyway, when the film company sent me the form to sign, it said that it had to be my original work. Well, the script is by me, but the book it is based off of is not. Both my Great-Aunt and Great-Uncle are deceased and I have no idea how to contact any heirs of theirs, since they died when I was young.
So my question is...
Would it be legal for me to submit this script, or do I need to clear it through heirs of my Great-Aunt?

So, could you and why would you...

Be with someone for 4 years, leave this time last year, come back 2 months later, leave again 6 months later, after you left second time, lead the 'left' one on for 2 months, then a few weeks pass by then all of a sudden you have found someone and moved on?

(By the way...please don't say that person was there all along, cuz they weren't....this person was met through a text messaging service on a cell for a month and a half from the other side of the state, then met only in person for a week, and that's when it was said. I know for a fact cuz I seen the phone bills before)

The person who left is Bipolar (untreated and unmedicated)
I have psyc problems too but I have been getting help for last 2 years. I have been putting forth a little more effort then the other party.

I got fobbed off with a fake DVD from an e-bay seller. I'm in the UK and the seller was in the US. I went back to them to complain, but they are not being that helpful, saying I can send it back for a refund for the DVD (by the time I pay postage & pay-pal I'll be lucky to end up with £1 left !!!)

Now they say the DVD was not available in the US, but it is still clearly a fake - Is this legal for them to do this? Other than Pay-pal / e-bay is there anyone else I can take this to?

he wants to take me to the Coach store. I am 99% sure that he wants to buy me a Coach necklace [or other jewelry item]... The problem is, is it weird for me to go WITH him and say "I want this" or "I like this"...??

I would much rather prefer he just go ALONE and then later surprise me with a gift... how do I say that w/o sounding ungrateful..?

Also: he has already bought me 2 beautiful bags from Coach... and yes, I did pick them out myself... but I am just starting to feel weird about it...

Ever since I could remember the number 316 was always in my life. I would wake up at 316 every morning. My credit card has 2 316s in it. My dorm room was 316. My change is always 3.16. My flights are 316. My concert ticket is row 3, seat 16. etc. etc. To the point where it started freaking me out. I know 3:16 is a reference to part of the bible. I wasnt given a lot of direction with religion growing up, (my parent's are catholic, but don't practice - and didn't encourage us to learn about religions - I wish they did) so I'm hoping someone can tell me a little about 3:16 and what it could possibly mean to me.

...until you preferred the "view" with your glasses vs without.

Background: first got glasses at age 35 for astigmatism - wore them religiously for 3 ish years (one RX change half way through there). Now, have been doing without for 1.5 years, just got new glasses today, and think I am suffering the effects of my eyes having compensated for their short-comings for the last year and a half.....and now struggling to "uncompensate" since I now have glasses....

Does anybody out there understand what I am saying??

This incident has outraged me. As a level minded Muslim, common sense tells me that if you ask any Muslim child what their favourate name is, most likely the child will say "Mohamed." These idiots in Sudan have surely added to the Muslim list of stupid things. Muslims, when are we going to start using our heads? we are seen as a violent people when Islam only asks us to fight when we need to save our lives or for country. i dont blame others for laughing at us, fearing us because we have created this. I love my religion dearly but sadly a fraction of our brothers are idiotic and backward in their thinking.

This guy and I used to like each other. Then he said we'd be better as friends. Then he liked another girl. He always talked to me about her. Then I started liking this guy. Whenever I talk about him he says "but we're closer and more comfortable with each other..." Why does he say stuff like that? I know for sure he doesn't like me like that anymore, but is he just being a protective guy friend? We have gotten really close as friends.

There is a clinic near my home that does perform abortions. i do not have a car, and this is the only place in walking distance so i walked there so i can get some testing done since i am pregnant and want my baby to be ok...

well, as i walked closer there were pickiters and people yelling, i smiled and walked by and someone threw a rock at me!!! she then approached me and shoved me. I screamed at her "how can you hit a pregnant women!?" and she told me i'm "sickening". i ended up calling the police and the women was taken to i guess either the jail or holding station (im pressing charges!) these were all extreme christians...hard core christians

now to you christians, why do you think a lot of these people preach love and all this crap, then go and bomb abortion clinics, harming innocent people...and also attack people going into clinics. why do they think this is ok? but then preach to love thy neighbor and thou shalt not kill???

I use regular Suave kids shampoo,at time my head gets really itchy and when I scratch it skin comes off the size of dust and if I shake my head widely dust-like dry skin you can see fly everywhere.
