I personally like T-gel instead of Head and Shoulders because they have shampoo with menthol in it available also. It's available pretty much anywhere like Wal-Mart.

You definatly have dandruff... and the problem is that this Suave shampoo is drying out your scalp, it has nothing to do with you, and its not gross, its extremely normal. So just go with head and shoulders, or any generic dandruff shampoo. the point of them is to moisturize your scalp, so it doesn't really matter what brand.. although head and shoulders does have a wide varity of different kinds.
Good Luck

do NOT use any brands you will find in the stores like head and shoulders and any dandruff advertised product. They all have alcohols in them that dry out your hair. Try going to a salon that sells Eufora (I am using the urgent repair and it heps)... your best bet is for an all natural product with no alcohols and it will stop the problem. Also stop using an product (gel, mousse etc) that has any alcohol it will make the problem worse!!! I have dealt with it so I can relate to you.

dont go the kids shampoo. if the flakes are yellow and gunky looking then its dandruff so go head n shoulders. if not its just dry scalp. if thats the case rub baby oil into your scalp, the day before u wash it, just before u go to bed. then in the morning shampoo it out. should be all good
good luck

Use a different shampoo. You can use whichever you like but use one that says stuff like "mousturizing care" or it promises to make your hair softer. I like sunsilk perosnally. I've noticed that kids shampoos are usually like this. They have horrible drying effects. My word of advice DO NOT USE KIDS' SHAMPOOS. Like, EVER. Hope this helps
