Why is everybody think the 90's were way better than 2007-2008, when we now have iPods that can hold 40 thousand songs, pictures, and videos; Xbox 360s and PS3s that have very realistic graphics and quality, and can play online and actually learn all of your moves; have cars that have style to it instead of boxy corners and shapes and cheap interiors and engines; cell phones that have HD cameras in them, can text, hold music, photos, videos, and more; computers that can hold 3 times as much memory, do 5 times the things computers from the 90's could, and have 100 times better graphics; tons of wireless devices that you can fit in the palm of your hand that you would never dream of ever having in the 90's, such as the iPhone which is literally a computer in your pocket and can do much more than a normal cell phone; and way better graphics on TVs and better sound quality. So what was so special about the 90's?

Please help! My 6 mo old just figured out (this past weekend) how to bite me while breasfeeding. She has done it several times now. The first time, I screamed just because it shocked me so much (and hurt!). She cried, so I thought that would be the end of that. But she keeps on doing it! La Leche League suggested pulling her in close so that her nose gets covered, but she is too strong and won't let me do that. I have also told her sternly not to do it, and signed the word "hurt" (she is not hard of hearing, I just want her to have another way of communicating so I am teaching her ASL)

I do not know the reason for her doing this - if it is a game, if she does it without realizing, if she is trying to "prime the pump," so to speak.

Please let me know what you think the reason may be, and if there are any suggested solutions.

My chest feels like im having a heart attack, even now, like a consistant pain in my chest. I know no kid want's to do there homework. Thats not strange, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it for two weeks. I can get jittery, and it's hard for me to breath. I feel like crying for no reason, and I constantly worry about my homework since it just seems to be getting worse and worse. It's hard to focus, and I can get mad easily, & It's hard to breath.

I prefer that you not just say "none of them".

I really want to know if there is a candidate that you think is both "most winnable" and "truly frightening"?

A couple of the candidates are doing well by "uniting the hatred" that some Republicans have toward certain groups.

A couple of others are doing well by "flip-flopping" in order to seem moderate.

And a couple of them really are moderates but have just one or two REALLY bad ideas.

What do you, as a democrat, make of this mess?

Many skeptics have claimed that, for Cain to find a wife, there must have been other "races" of people on the earth who were not descendants of Adam & Eve. Do you think there were?
