I have been a widow for over 20 years and I and my daughter treat ourselves to caravan holidays about 5 times a year and we love it. We go all over the UK in our car. My fellow bible study member said to me, "The only reason you go away so often is because you're lonely".

so.... at the moment im talking to this guy... and we are quite close and we really like each other. he is such a nice person and i find him unique. i love everything about him.
buttttt ... every night, i dream about him, i never dreamt something nice. all the time bad things. such as. he doesnt take notice of me, or he doesnt want to speak to me, or he leaves me alone, or he doesnt even care any more. like that :S:S and i amrealllllllyy confused!!!! every single night, i dream something new.

please tell me what all these dreams mean ;(

I'm so lost - my recent dating history has been an embarrassing mess of misunderstood messages from men. They'll do and say all the things that make me think they want to get to know me, but it seems the moment I respond they act like they just took a wrong turniing in a bad neighbourhood.

Don't get me wrong - I have plenty of admirers and I'm known for being a hard nut to crack (such an elegant phrase...), but I can't seem to convert any of these admirers into relationships! If men say "You turned me down but my door is always open", or "You're really hard to leave, I had such a great time", or "I feel so good when I'm around you, you engage me fully", that's got to be a positive sign, no?

It seems I can't win - if I ask them directly if they want to get to know me, they act affronted. If I don't, I end up making a fool of myself.

What's going on? They aren't commitmentphobes, in that they've all had long-term relationships. What am I doing wrong? What should I do right?

My fiancé and I are getting married early next year and we would like to have a Latin phrase tattooed to celebrate our wedding ! We would like something along the lines of ..."this is our vow" I have used a free translation website but not sure of it's accuracy so would appreciate if anyone can make a suggestion.

A little skinny white bloke gets stuck in a lift with a huge muscular black bloke.

The little white bloke is so engrossed in mentally willing the lift to start moving again, he doesn't realise that he is actually staring at the massive black bloke.

The Black bloke notices this, and obviously gets stared at regularly, so he automatically reels off his stats "I'm 7 feet 3 inches, I weigh 350 pounds, I have a 20 inch penis, and my balls weigh 20 pounds each, Turner Brown."

On hearing this the little white bloke goes a lighter shade of pale, throws up, and faints.

On regaining consciousness, the little white bloke asks him to repeat what he said, so the black bloke repeats his stats and says "and my name is Turner Brown"

The white bloke replies "Thank God for that, I thought you said TURN AROUND!!"

I've read back and forth about the Calvin/Armenius debate - once saved always saved versus conditional security - and when I view the Scriptures each side uses against the other they both seem valid, but neither can disprove the other either, not really except one thing - I think the entire debate hinges on the depravity of man - is there anything good in man or not - i.e. man is born in sin and cannot redeem himself. I think man is totally depraved but the Arminus camp thinks that is not the case, and that's where I think the argument falls apart. I think this is the most difficult issue in Christianity - and it all depends on how you read certain passages, but there are still passages that are concerning if you are a once saved always saved person, like why would you need to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling if you didn't need to worry about it anymore? or why does it say those that endure to the end will be saved?
