it depends.... if she was driving and saw something shiny in the shop window she can have a car crash... so yeah it depends..

It is an insult normally used about people with short attention spans.

I refer to my wife by saying she gets distracted by 'oh is that a squirrel' Shiny objects.

Most of the times i hear it used it is with a bit of affection for the ' oh is that Elvis' person being refereed to .
