my only symptom ive been having is painful urination (no blood). im sexually active with one partner, we use protection.

my question is should i see my family doctor or a GYN? i'm registered under a new insurance plan (HMO) so i will be seeing a new MD either way. im 23yo female and i want to have a gynecological exam too (ive never had one before).

would it matter if i see a GYN or a family practitioner?

I was just diagnosed yesterday with polycystic ovaries. I have been trying to concieve 5 years now with one miscarriage 1 year and half ago.
I may go on Clomid to help.
Has anyone gone through this with success or are you still ttc??? I am just frustrated after years of trying and now it feels like it is going to still be a hard time to concieve.
How much is Clomid monthly?
What else would help in addition to Clomid for fertility with polycystic ovaries?

My husband and I want to get away for a few days in January or February. I'd like a quiet, private beach house or villa somewhere warm. I was flipping through the channels, when closing arguments in a trial caught my eye. While i did not follow this trial (and usually do not follow trials).... i stopped to watch some of the Defense's closing arguments. It's in re: the Hainstock trial. He brought a gun to school and murdered his principal.

The defense was basically arguing (by suggestion, not in so many words) that Hainstock was not entirely responsible for his actions, as he was not on his ADHD medicine during the time of the shooting; and that his testimony was the only credible testimony who's story 'never changed' as opposed to the other witnesses that testified.

I don't know about you, but i don't buy it. Mainly, because I am Adhd... and i've never brought a gun to school or work; Adhd doesn't make you kill people. While yes there is impulsivity present, adhd doesn't impare your sense of morals. There is a MAJOR difference between .....

I just can´t remember when a size 5 or 8 stopped being healthy and perfect size. If you are thin by nature good for u. But if you are a size 5 and people still think you are a little bit overweight I think there is something wrong with the world.

I have a question, how soon do your breasts begin getting tender as a result of PMS? Mine usually always do but they began getting tender about 3 days earlier than ususal... I don't think I could be pregnant as I was using a condom combined with my pill last month so the chances are VERY slim to none at all, but I also bought new minimizing bra's in the last 2 weeks as I have DDD's and wanted some added support.
Just curious what the reason they were sore earlier than ususal could be?

Ok. I gave my boyfriend specific details about what I wanted as an engagement ring. I told him either at least a 1/2 carat solitaire or a 2 carat bridal set. He proposed, but diamond is 1/4 carat and all this other crap on the sides is 1/4 carat. It is a beautiful ring. I don't want to give it back, but its not what I asked for. This is so much of a problem that I have not shared with my co-workers my engagement because they all have no less than a 1 carat diamond. I am a professional and even the secretary has no less than a 1 carat diamond. I have considered talking with him, but I dont want to hurt his feelings. I gave him specific instructions, but I think he was anxious to propose so he just got what he could get instead of taking time to save. Should I suggest that he still buy what I asked for?
