This girl says she found the number and decided to call to see how my husband was doing. She left info that she was married with two kids. My mother-in-law told my husband this in front of me. Do you think her motives were innocent (the mother in law)? My husband can't think of who it could be. I'm not worried, but thought it was wierd that she would share such info with us. My mom would never do this. What do you think?

I needed a bigger monitor both for desk space reasons and deteriorating eyesight, so I got a nice 22" Samsung SyncMaster 22wm monitor. After plugging in the machine and installing the default driver, the images on the screen are stretched laterally. I'm working off an older machine, a Compaq Presario 6000 apparently with a graphics element from S3, their registry name S3 Graphics PRoSavageDDR. After running a utility to view further details on its graphics capability, I take it that this device supports AGP v.2.0, 4x speeds, 66 MHz PCI. The GPU ID is 5333 8D04 (for what that's worth). Anyway, I'm wondering if buying some fancy graphics card or something will solve the problem. Do I have to junk the older computer? (I'm in the process of getting new RAM memory for this one, and have everything installed on it, and it runs XP okay, so I'm reluctant to have to start over again.) Any thoughts on what my strategies might best be at this point? Thanks in advance, you savants!

I'm not sure if I remember enough of it to help you guys figure out what it is, but here goes...I saw just bits and pieces of this movie, but I want to know the name so I can rent it and watch the entire thing...

This lady gunslinger has this flashback to when she was a little girl...Her dad was a marshal, but some outlaws capture him...They give her a gun to try and shoot the rope that they're going to hang him with, but he ends up dying...

Any of you know where that scene came from? Thanks for your help in advance...

My neice married to a boy who was not liked by her mother (my sister). In spite of several request and pray to avoid this intercast marriage by her mother, instead of convincing her mother, she married and called her husband to house. This caused an argument in between her and her mother. Ultimately her mother (my sister ) became so depresed that she hanged herself to death. How should we behave with her and her husband now? We are bit confused. My Neice has no regret for this and says she is economically independendent so she can take any deceision she likes.

My ex-boyfriend broke up with me about 8 mths ago saying that he felt unworthy & afraid because he did not achieve the things that he promised me. It hurt, but I am moving on. During the summer he left voicemails about how much he missed me but did not try to come back. I did not answer them. Then he later stated that he wanted to work things out but then pulled back saying that he had caused too much pain. He did not feel that his new acting career and trying to fix the relationship would work together. Again, I moved on.

Well he just got laid off and wrote me email to say he believes this is his payback for ruining what we had. I did not respond. On Thanksgiving day he sends another email and states he wants to be "clear". He doesn't know why he "digressed" (?) and sent the lay off email and he is glad I stuck to my guns by not responding. I, again, have not responded to the latest email.

I am tired of the games. Can someone tell me what is happening?

As a staunch skeptic, I find the notion of anything supernatural, from God to crystal healing to the existence of the human soul, likely to be based on human whim, rather than actually existing. Recently a friend of mine (who is definitely skeptical of the existence of a god but believes fully in ghosts) posited this question to me: given that the human body operates by electrical impulses, and as per the laws of thermodynamics energy can't be created or destroyed; thus, the electrical energy must "live on" as a ghost.

I see this particular argument being offered all the time for the existence of ghosts; how does one refute this? What does happen to the electrical energy, anyway?

I would like to know if Black women would prefer to purchase thier products from a Black supplier as opposed to someone outside of the community. After speaking with several sisters, I became concerned about people outside our community capitalizing from something that we place so much time and money into. I would like to solict any ideas about how you can be served better in the hair industry.
