No need to worry. It varies, many midwives say that the baby IS moving, it's just that you're probably just too busy with your first to feel it.

Every baby is different sugar. When I was pregnant the first time, I felt the baby move at 15 weeks. The second time, I didn't feel movement until about 5 months. It's never the same every time.

Try not to worry about it, just make an appointment for a fetal heart rate check, my midwife was always happy to accommodate my paranoia!

Sometimes you feel the baby moves as early as 16 or 17 weeks, but usually it is more like 20 weeks or so. If you weigh more now than you did the first time, you may not feel it move as soon, or it could be the position the baby is in or maybe the baby is just not as active as your othe child was.
I am sure everything is fine.

Not neccesarily. They say after the first time you should be able to feel the baby move sooner but that is not true in all cases. I am pregnant with my second child and I thought the same thing but my doctor told me this was normal and I actually started feeling movement around 19 weeks.

It can vary from person to person. I felt my other children about the 17 wk mark but I was definately past the 20 weeks before I felt anything in this pregnancy and was worried but everything seems ok from scans. Am 27 wks now.

they say that you feel your baby move sooner in second pregnancys but it was actualy later for me. I felt mt first baby kick at 18 weeks and my second at 22 weeks. Dont worry about it. If you have felt nothing at 20/21 weeks then get checked out. in the meantime you can get midwife to listen to heartbeat evry week or two weeks to put your mind at ease. You have every right to see you midwife every week if you wish. They just dont tell you that. Good luck. You will feel baby soon enough.

Not necessarily... Your baby is probably moving around right now, you're just not sensitized to the feelings. My wife felt movement in her first pregnancy around week 22 or 23. They say you MIGHT feel it earlier on subsequent pregnancies, but you might not until 20 weeks of later. Don't be alarmed. If you're getting emotionally worked up about it... call your OB. They'll settle your nerves.

..dont worry, beautiful mama, we're all different. i didnt feel mine move until i was 18 wks or so..even then, it only feels like a little swish in your belly @ first. you may have felt it already and you just havent realized it. im 6 1/2 mos thru a perfectly healthy first pregnancy and i couldnt even feel her move during the ultrasound; tho i could plainly see her doing so on the monitor. dont worry! your baby will be kicking the daylights out of you soon enuf. :)

I started feeling my baby at 17 weeks, and everyday since then. Normally its from 16-22 weeks, but because its your second pregnancy they say you feel it sooner. So you could either wait until atleast 22 weeks or seek your doctors advice. But i'm sure all is well. It'll happen.
