I read an article by a Democrat, who suggested taxing coal plants so that running them would be more trouble than it's worth. I talked to my Republican Dad, who said we should offer tax deductions to atomic plants. I'm not quite sure what I think. What do you?

I was watching Charlie Sheen's show yesterday, forgot what its called. But its Charlie sheen, a guy who's his brother, a lil nephew, and a nanny who lives in a house. Charlie is like a "lady's man". So his ex comes to see him but he finds out that she had a sex change. Hes shocked but gets drunk he the guy(girl) takes Charlie home. There he(she) meets Charlie's brother and mother. The mother and the ex leave together kissing, and end up having sex together. Charlie and his brother are in shock and the nanny just finds the whole situation humorous. So at the end, the guy(girl) tells the mom, and the mom passes out. I was thinking "o my goodness" throughout that whole episode.

It goes beyond taking the 10 Commandments off of the Courthouse steps.
It goes beyond equal rights for atheists, agnostics, and Eastern faiths.
(There are different versions of the 10 Commandments by the way)
Courts could legally show preference to one Church over another.
WHAT IF YOU BELONG TO THE CHURCH THE COURT DOESN"T PREFER?!?
If there is a Department of Faith, or something akin to that, telling you how you must worship, you don't have Freedom of Religion anymore.
Some Supreme Court seats are up for grabs in this election.
This needs to be an issue!
The framework for turning the Land of the Free into a Theocracy could unfold before our eyes if we're not careful.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, who has a history of heart problems, was treated with an electric shock for an irregular heartbeat discovered during a doctor's visit on Monday, his office said.

Cheney, 66, one of President George W. Bush's closest advisers, returned home from the hospital after the procedure, which required sedation, and will resume his normal schedule at the White House on Tuesday, his office said.

I am very impressed by this man's dedication to duty and his country. He should, by all rights, take several days of bedrest.
But for some strong willed individuals, the work of the nation comes before one's own well-being.

God Speed, Vice President Cheney!

A 65-year old mailman decided it was time to retire. When the small commmunity he worked for found out, they decided they should do something nice for him, since he'd served them for the past 45 years.
So, the last day on the job, the mailman went up to the first house, and the homeowner welcomed him in. They gave him a pile of presents to thank him for all his hard work.
At the next house they gave him a cheque for 100 dollars, and the 3rd house, a cheque for 200 dollars.
At the fourth house, a blonde lady answered. She was wearing silk pajamas, and was motioning him to follow her upstairs. The mailman had the best sex of his entire life, and when they were done, he went downstairs. On the table was a huge breakfast, with waffles, eggs, pancakes, the whole deal, and a cup of coffee with a 5 dollar bill underneath.
The mailman was curious, so he said to the lady, "I've had the best day of my entire life, everyone has been so nice to me, but I have to ask, what's the 5 dollar bill for?"The lady replied, "I asked my husband what we should do for you and he said 'f*ck him, give him five bucks', but breakfast was my idea."

that you cannot accept someone attempting to unite us all under the name of Islam? Can you only think bad things and attack those of us who are not as 'pious' as you, who are simply trying to learn and better understand the faith we have chosen to follow? May Allah guide you all. I am done here. I will continue to learn about Islam on my OWN, away from the anger and hatred I have experienced here. I was recently told that I am confused and my husband has a lot of work teaching me about Islam. That's true, but at least he does so in a kind and nurturing was and does not insult me when I question things. Anybody who does not question their faith, their beliefs and try to learn more is a fool and I am sorry for them. May Allah bless you all.

I deleted everything else the I received from my shower. My MIL is getting my the wipe warmer for Christmas, and I am going to get the avent bottle heater this weekend.

Is the little seat & boppy pillow necessary? Im not breastfeeding, are they something I will need? I am staying home for 6 months after the babies born. If I got the processor as a christmas gift from someone, would I be able to use it before going back to work?

Do I need a insulated bottle tote bag??

Thanks!

i am getting married in july 2008 and i have a small problem. We are inviting approx 30 people (close family and friends only), the ceremony is going to last only 30 mins, and we are having a dinner, toasts/speeches, cake cutting and dessert reception only. NO DANCING! We have the area for both the ceremony and reception from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Do you think that the reception is going to be too short? What other things can i do to lengthen the time? Thank you.
