I'm serious. I noticed that as I get older the more my hair get curlier. I used to have a little wave on my bangs, now it's friggin curly. Any idea why it has a mind of its own?

Hormonal changes.
Especially if you've had children. Women are prone to experiencing bizzare things because of hormonal fluxuations.
Or, if you've been dying/bleaching your hair a lot. In my experience, the more you damage it with bleaches and dyes, the wavier/curlier it gets. I think it has something to do with damages done to the cuticle.
Also, if you've been keeping your hair shorter. Weight tends to make the hair fall a little straighter until the ends where it gets extremely curly.
That sounds a little confusing- hope it made sense :3
But there are a million and one reasons this could be. I wouldn't stress it.

I have no idea, but if you do get an answer that actually make since please let me know. I have had straight hair most of my life then 2 years ago it started to get curly and now it is out of control. I now have to use a flat iron on it to control it, otherwise it looks like I am wearing a Bozo the clown wig!

Maybe the roots were always curly and as they slowly grew out, so did the curls.

mine too...it was straighter when i was a kid.and then get really curly when im 11-14 and now its less curly.i've been wondering too.maybe its the hair product im using or being active. i was quite active during that curliest time. what do u think?

Just Body Changes, thats all, comes with age, happens to many of us , actually to all of us, just at different times, I woudn't worry too much about it.

when you find out please let me know.. Mine has fallen out as I got older. I am seriously thinking of getting some rabbits tatood on my head, because I think that from a distance they'd look like hairs (hares)

just wait until it starts to turn gray like mine is and i think you,ll
notice that some guys like a little gray hair in girls and some girls like a little gray hair in men .
