Many AGW doubters have compared global warming to the hole in the ozone layer and Y2K bug. These were both serious problems which we solved.

The hole in the ozone layer was caused by human clorofluorocarbon (CFC) emissions. Industrialized countries stopped these emissions in the 1990s due to the Montreal Protocol.

Some AGW doubters claim that the hole in the ozone layer was a trumped-up problem. Others claim that we didn't solve the problem because the hole continues to grow.

"At about 25 million square kilometres, the hole is the smallest it is been in five years."

"The effects of the CFCs will linger for a long time. The ozone depleting chemicals are some of the longest lived chemicals in the atmosphere - on average, typically 100 years or so,"

http://au.news.yahoo.com/071116/21/14zgv.html

Do AGW doubters understand this basic science, and can they see the parallel between CFCs/ozone layer/Montreal Protocol and greenhouse gases/global warming/Kyoto Protocol?

I've been pondering this for a while now. Do calories affect your health? I read the back of labels and I see that two glasses of orange juice match the exact same calories that one slice of chocolate cake has.

How many calories is too much? How many calories is too little?

I am just so mad I saw my ex who I haven't seen in 4 years and he just laughs at me!! The nerve! The thing is I have no Idea what he was laughing at?? I wasn't looking funky..I was with my 2 year old son.. maybe he's just mad that he got dumped but anyway I was embarrased because i felt dumb when he laughed at me. Then I thought about it and like I shouldn't have felt that way...He's the one with an obese spouse and if you aske me I think I look the bomb after 2 kids.. :)

Sir Isaac Newton:
The theory of Gravity

Galileo:
Father of physics and the father of science

Georges Lemaître:
First proposed the Big Bang Theory

Gregor Mendel:
Father of modern genetics

All of these people were religious. I am quite sure that they were not brain washed, idiots, or gullible. They surely knew when to seperate science from religion and when it is reasonable to combine them. Yet some assume that a theist cannot grasp science, or that it will confuse them. Well how do you explain these men who were theists?

long story short. the kid is now 14 and just a few months ago we got a phone call from the mother saying my husband of 7 years might be the father. i guess she has spent 14 years trying to find the father and has done DNA testing on dozen of men. well my husband is the father and now she wants the judge to make us pay thousands a month in 'back' child support ! we didn't even know ! nor did she ! is there any way we can get out of paying 'back' child suppor. i know for a fact that the mother will not use this money to put the kid threw college. its in FL.

I'm having a birthday party Saturday and I have been super male deprived lately. Plenty of guys my age (14) are coming and I want to kiss someone. I've made out before so I know how. Ijust want some tips on initiating it or him initiating it. And maybe some tongue-tips too.

I really don't get it...

You believe the Bible is true, not because of evidence but, because of faith. And you believe things that are ONLY mentioned in the Bible (like the Christian God), not because of evidence but, because of faith. And you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, not because of evidence but, because the Bible says so. And you believe the word of God is true, not because of evidence but, because the Bible says so. And you believe whatever God says is true, not because of evidence but, because the Bible says so... or is it because of faith.

I'm sorry, but I'm STILL confused. Can you help me understand?
