I personally think the symbol looks cool...is there any other reason?

I left Wednesday at 2pm. My normal day ends at 3pm. My coworker did not tell me till 11:50 that I had to file and put a 3 inch high stack of papers in abc order and file in one of my bosses' desk. She new about this since 8:30 am. I was in the file room going through files.

This was right before my lunch @ 12:15pm
Well, could not concentrate that day
It was Thanksgiving Eve and I needed go shopping and get home.

Everyone else left early without notifying me at 12pm I and the acting boss were the only ones in the office. I had to close up, answer the phone and clean up. The acting supervisor said it was okay to leave at 2pm. I left both bosses an email stating I could not accomplish the task given that day and That I would finish it first thing Monday.

Should I have just stayed till it was done (I would not have finished till 5pm) ? I am thinking really I screwed up?

John went fishing one day but had no luck at all. He noticed that another fisherman near him was catching fish one after another. He had to know the secret. He approached the other fisherman and said, "Excuse me sir, but would you mind telling me what sort of bait you are using?"

The other man said, "Well, I can tell you but it will do you no good , you see I am a surgeon, and quite by accident I found that the human tonsil works very well as bait.

The next day, John returned to the lake and, just as the day before, he had no luck. There was a different man nearby having a great time catching fish.

John approached the man and asked "Excuse me sir, but would you mind telling me what sort of bait you are using?"

"Well, I can tell you but I am not sure it will do you any good. I am a doctor and I am using a bit of human appendix as bait."

John left, thinking this was all very strange but vowed he would give the lake just one more try.

On the third day, John still had no luck. As usual, there was yet another man near him bringing in fish after fish.

John needed to confirm what he, by now, already knew. "Excuse me sir, but would you mind telling me what sort of bait you are using?"

The other man looked around acting a little embarrassed. "Well, I can tell you but it will do you no good."

"Don't tell me," said John "your a doctor".

"No,"

said the man,

"I'm a Rabbi."

i dont want to be a complete jerk.
but.
i have been working for her for a year, and she has never said anything nice to me. I've tried absolutely as hard as I can, and have taken care of many things she should be dealing with herself. In my one year here as a simple sales rep, I have created the company logo, taken care of all of the advertising going out of the store, and set up several deals with the area the store is located. All of these things raised revenue for her incredibly.

I haven't gotten a raise.
She doesn't believe me when i call in sick (this has happened only twice), and she even calls my house rather than my cell to make absolutely sure i wasn't lying.

i just had to ask off one week at the end of december for major jaw surgery, and she called and yelled at me and told me that i needed to get my act together and grow up.

so tell me how to quit, and leave a sting, without sounding like an ***.

When I first got pregnant, I conceived twins and miscarried all of them and then the second time, I conceived triplets and miscarried all of them. I just miscarried twins at 6 weeks. I've just had my third miscarriage. The first pregnancy, I miscarried at 2 weeks. The second pregnancy, I miscarried at 14 weeks and the last miscarriage I miscarried at 6 weeks. I recently got food poisoning. Did that cause my third miscarriage? Is this recurrent miscarriage? If this is my third miscarriage, when should I get pregnant again?

Dogs bark and lunge at me wherever I go! It happens all the time. Even with dogs who never bite and who "like everybody." The same thing happens to my dad. Do you have any idea why this may be happeneing and what I can do to help myself? Any answer you could supply would help!

If God is omnipotent, then why did He not simply endow himself with a sense of satisfaction rather than create humans who, through purpose of creation, should worship Him? And being omniscient, He of course would have known that many would not heed His call and would thus be cast into hell. Is the stoking of His God complex more important than the anguish of scores of singed heathens?
