Dogs bark and lunge at me wherever I go! It happens all the time. Even with dogs who never bite and who "like everybody." The same thing happens to my dad. Do you have any idea why this may be happeneing and what I can do to help myself? Any answer you could supply would help!

you may have an unrealized fear of dogs, and they can smell that and it is like a red flag to attack.
I have been in a pack of attack dogs and one on one with attack dogs in my time with the military, and I can befriend even the most vicious of dogs (trained to attack without command) because they will not bite their own kind
me and dogs are like brothers
I would suggest you find out if you have fear of them, I don't, even the most vicious are friendly if you are also a dog to them.

Dogs have vibes. When they sence bad vibes, it sets them off. The main things that sets them of is baggy clothings, deep loud voices, if your really tall, and if they don't like they way you act. If any of these things describe you, here is what you can do. But if they don't describe you than maybe it's just a covincedent that you get stuck with all the yappy mean dogs. But heres what you can do, Talk in a soft nice voice, don't whare baggy clothings around them, be kind to others mostly there owners, and most importantly try to warm up to the dogs. Dogs pick up bad vibes so because you walk in a nervous and cautious way they become defensive and you may have picked this up from your dad. It may be a smell they do not like.My best bet put some doggy treats in you pocket and they will soon love you.Talk with the owner first and gadually you will soon be relaxed around dogs and they will feel no threat and soon be stroking these freindly dogs and giving them a treat too and they aways remember you next time.

If my dogs don`t like someone I figure there is something not right about that person. Dogs can see aura`s and can see the negative vibrations a person gives off. If you are not a nasty person then I would suspect that something evil is following you around.
There is so much in this world that we can`t just explain away or call it bunk for lack of understanding it.

Assuming there's nothing else going on some people give off a scent that sets animals off. Most of the time it's more then just dogs but it's certainly possible.

Did you happen to notice if you looked the dog in the eye? Looking him in the eye is a sign of aggression, the dog's sign language equivalent of "Wanna fight?"
Open hands, relaxed arms, easy stance around the dog is telling him you're not afraid of him and you're no threat to him.

Either you exude fear and make the dogs nervous and afraid, or you know far too many unsocialized, untrained dogs.
Either way, you can change your situation.

My ex-girlfriends dog did the same thing to me!!!! So i chucked the little B@STED off her balcony. and splat goes the wealsel!!! well dog in this case. it was well fun. i sugest you do the same

Sounds like they can sense your fear, discomfort and maybe any dislike for them.
