Do the questions on R and S ever cease to amaze you? Or the answers?

Yes. I tend to frequent the "Men's Health" forum. I'm SOO sick of every third guy asking about his size. Health issues; fine. But the same question OVER & OVER & OVER again just annoys the snot outta' me. Ya' know...?
Then you have the ones you think you know? A question (or comment) comes from them that I don't know if they're joking, or for real. Makes me want to meet them in person.

The whole concept of YA! is awesome, you can find fact and opinion. Of course, there are idiots. Some questions amaze me and some are obviously posted as disguised insults or to stir up some strife.

And some of the answer annoy me to no ends, I assume that some are seeking easy points, judging by their answers. And some are just so negative. I read a comment on here somewhere that, "People open their mouthes, and stupid just falls out."

I like that, but it's a nice place.

What amazes me is that some people take the time just to be rude and mean to others. That is what I cannot understand on here. I try to speak the truth without hurting others (often I realize that that is not possible!) . And I am on here hoping to encourage others with things that I have already been through.

But seriously, though, sometimes I find it enriching, sometimes I don't, both in a single day.

I don't want to come across as gossipy, but the month I been on here (I originated last spring 2006, by a different yahoo! ID, and had to take a long hiatus due to life circumstances), I seen questions that are EXTREMELY vulgar, like xxx vulgar! I won't get into specifics, but questions wondering if a holy biblical figure, if they had done a certain sexual act, and stuff.

I find that to be utterly disgusting, to put it EXTREMELY mildly! But I got to love those people because God loves them first. I may not be doing something popular by loving people like the ones who would ask such questions, but being Christian isn't about gaining the favor of men, but gaining favor of our Heavenly Father!

But I am grateful for this section! I got to know some wonderful people and it is one way to be open about my faith. But as I speak it, I am not one to force my beliefs on someone, as I am no one's judge, and they got to decide for themselves if they want to believe and how they believe. Just like I cannot force them, no one can force me to NOT believe and whorship. If need it be, I can think my prayers in my head! But I shall not be ashamed of my belief in God, because if I were to be ashamed, the Heavenly King will be ashamed of me before the Heavenly Father!

Yes, I agree R&S is very amazing. I feel very happy with the answers in my head during the week, giving me a boost when I'm down.
Luckily I don't drink - or I could never drive, let alone walk. Peace.

Amaze, not really. Tickle my funny bone at some of the answers, definitely.
I stopped being amazed by the intelligence, or lack of, a long time ago.

Anyways, YES. So many answers are do...close-minded? Ignorant? You've probably seen them, the ones that obviously don't know what they question-asker is asking. They just say things like, "No, you're wrong. Come to Jesus!" or things like that. Ahh, how unopen we are here.

Some times The questions amaze Me from certain People, Because I get to thinking I Know them and where they are coming from...Then Wow, Their Question will Blow me away! (Kinda Hurts)

I've seen some that I thought were very clever -- I don't know if that counts as amazing. I come here for the humor element.

Sometimes the questions are very interesting and sometimes very strange.
We've got quite a mix over here on R&S and it's amazing that it's still here! lol
