My charts on the S&P500 show several ten percent corrections during the past year, the first in late Feb. early March and another on Aug. 3 which brought it to the same low point we now have.

That's three chances to get a 10% return if you can time it precisely.

With all the negative news now out, I see it where they will begin bringing in the positive news that will give you again a 10% return to year's end.

Certainly the bad news is alarming, no doubt.

But if I am correct, the big money will shortly begin buying up everything again like they did last Aug. 16...within half an hour, the Dow Jones surged five hundred points.

The most important aspect of the stock market, I believe, are interest rates. With low rates, money seeks better returns.

I had my baby son 6 months ago and breast fed for 3 months. But since I've stopped, my boobs are flat and much lower than before! I know most women have this after pregnancy, but it's really making me self-concious as I'm only 22 and it was my first pregnancy. Will excercise help or just make me look even flatter?? Help!

“In the number of ancient MSS. [manuscripts] attesting a writing, and in the number of years that had elapsed between the original and the attesting MSS., the Bible enjoys a decided advantage over classical writings [those of Homer, Plato, and others]. . . . Altogether classical MSS. are but a handful compared with Biblical. No ancient book is so well attested as the Bible.”—The Bible From the Beginning (New York, 1929), P. Marion Simms, pp. 74, 76.

A report published in 1971 shows that there are possibly 6,000 handwritten copies containing all or part of the Hebrew Scriptures; the oldest dates back to the third century B.C.E. Of the Christian Greek Scriptures, there are some 5,000 in Greek, the oldest dating back to the beginning of the second century C.E. There are also many copies of early translations into other languages.

In the introduction to his seven volumes on The Chester Beatty Biblical Papyri, Sir Frederic Kenyon wrote: “The first and most important conclusion derived from the examination of them [the papyri] is the satisfactory one that they confirm the essential soundness of the existing texts. No striking or fundamental variation is shown either in the Old or the New Testament. There are no important omissions or additions of passages, and no variations which affect vital facts or doctrines. The variations of text affect minor matters, such as the order of words or the precise words used . . . But their essential importance is their confirmation, by evidence of an earlier date than was hitherto available, of the integrity of our existing texts.”—(London, 1933), p. 15.

It is true that some translations of the Bible adhere more closely to what is in the original languages than others do. Modern paraphrase Bibles have taken liberties that at times alter the original meaning. Some translators have allowed personal beliefs to color their renderings. But these weaknesses can be identified by comparison of a variety of translations.

One thing I don't get: if Jehovah’s witnesses believe that only 144.000 will be saved and that nothing they personally do can change this, that the number (and persons) are already set and no changes can be made, then why do they refuse to receive blood transfusion or organ transplantation, as they believe that they will receive the sins of the donor? What difference does it make? Please, someone, explain it to me..

I was sexually and mentally abused by a close family member when I was little. It went of for years. I now have a little 6 month old girl and can't help but be extremely protective of her. The thought of her going through anthing like I did terrifies me. My partner says I have to trust somebody and give her some space when she is older, but I know first hand that abuse is rife and it is usually the people you least expect doing it. Once it happens its too late, the damage is done. How can I stop myself being too over protective whilst ensuring she is safe

its got a weird symbol on it
its like a bow with a bendy stick on it. which next to is a straight line. that side of the coin is split in half. half of it is shaded darker than the other side. its a goldyish colour.
