If its thawed...rinse (well), stuff, coat skin w/ either vegetable oil or butter or marg. Spice to your liking. Note: Don't forget to pull out the plastic bags, that are usually located on either end of the bird. These bags contain giblets and/or gravy. Use or discard. Cover w/ tin foil in a pan that's big enough to accommodate. Cook at 325 degrees. I use the 3 hours per 10 lbs. method. Enjoy!

theres a way to defrost the turkey in the oven. Your supposed to heat it to something like 150 degrees, turn the oven off and then put the turkey in to speed up defrosting (I made up the temp so I would look it up if your going to try it) It will still mean a super late dinner for you though.
