the simple answer is no.
There are some dwarf varieties that could make interesting houseplants or bonsai, but the plants require a great deal of heat and light. Even as greenhouse plants, they can be problematic, as they develop insect problems with high humidity. probably not,but with winter protection it is worth a try. iowa is zone 4&5 . pomegranate is listed as zone 8(7b) to 10 by dirr
