i`m getting a kitten soon for my 10 yr old but we never had a cat before ,we did cat but it wasn`t my.So how?

He was taken to the Dr yesterday & diagnosed w/ a virus and we were told to treat the symptoms----Tylenol for the fever & Robitussin for the cough.

During the day, he is fine. Feels great, no fever. At night, it's a totally different story.

Last night, his fever spiked to 104.2' around 12:30am. We gave him a lukewarm bath (which he screamed bloody murder about), Tylenol and a popsicle. His fever dropped but never dipped below 102'.

At 5am this morning, his fever was up to 102.4'.

Honestly, I'd be happy to just get his temp down to about 100' or so. I am tapped out of ideas.

Help!

I swear after I meet a girl we'll be talking (online mostly), everything will be going great, we'll be exchanging stories and laughs and memories and then she'll say something like, "You crack me up!" and i'll say "Well, i'm glad I make you laugh! You do have a pretty smile!" and then i'll go back to whatever it was we were talking about, but after that things are never the same usually. Either the girl seems to steer clear of me or the conversation dies out suddenly, but if I don't compliment a girl they seem to respond more to that. Why is this?

I would be testing again today, I am 12 days late, I was suppose to get af on Nov 9th, I had lite cramps all that week, and last week, the cramping went away, I am just having aches nipples, I am trying to conceive

I just feel a little nassuea, and some smells sames to get to me now.

Yesterday I was talking on the phone and had Severe pain in my upper pubic region. Near the spot that your undies would meet your skin and over around the front to the upper side. I called the dr and couldn't even walk myself. He had me go to the er and I did. In Labor and Deliver they couldn't find a thing wrong. It is still hurting, not as bad, today. They did give me a sleeping pill and pain med for last night. Has anyone heard of this? The nurse said I probably pulled a muscle. That isn't likely. I am so frustrated! I am 3 cm dialated for like 2-3 wks now and am just getting so sick of this. Sorry to be like this but if it's not one thing it's another. The pain was unbearable!
It just happened again! When I went to bend down to get my sons toy I almost couldn't get back up! It feels like a rubberband tugging on my skin! HELP!

People believe in psychic phenomena and a lot of religious/spiritual stuff because they are afraid of dying and if you convince yourself that there are forces beyond the physical realm you feel like you are immortal. To accept reality is to face fear and so religion is weakness. Agree or disagree?

I read an article a discovery in Rome concerning the place where Romulus and Remus was supposedly raised by a she wolf.

I learned that the emperor kept his power base near this place in order to strengthen his rule over his subjects by associating himself with Romulus and Remus.

Moses used it to create the nation of Israel.

Constantine used it to create a new Rome.

Kings and rulers have always used religion to secure their power. Some claimed to have been chosen by God or are gods themselves.

Even today you see religion being used to secure power. Just look at the republican party, they base their strength on conservative/fundamentalist Christianity.

By contrast, Jesus never used the religion of his God to rule. He used it as a catalyst for living a moral life loving others.

So when religion is used to justify rule over people it stops being a means to commune with the spiritual and becomes something totally different.

Personally, I've already used all of the versions of MS Windows (From the oldest Windows 3.1 to the newest Windows Vista). Coz I'm a PC guy. :)

Sometimes, I do use Mac OS - from somebody's Mac computer. But that was long time ago.

All my life, I never used UNIX or Linux until now. :(

It's an operation out of NY, NY. I think it was 5th Avenue, but not sure. Children write to Santa and the charity sends the letters on to people who offer to fill the needs of the children. What's the name of it? I've looked all over the web. Thank you!
