since some people, i.e. creationists, are so taken in by the idea that evolution is just a theory and not a fact, i'm curious to know what you would define as fact and what is your basis for defining something as fact?

I had no insurance so I got a year suspension after showing proof of new insurance. The Court said I could only commute to work and back.

Why didn't they verify what that commute was? If I ever got caught driving all I'd ever have to say is that "I'm commuting right now", right? They never said what my route must be nor even checked that I in fact worked an hour's drive away.

I mean I'd have to get gas at some point, point? So I'd have to get off the commute route to do that, meaning I could get groceries or do about anything else on my way to getting gas or on my way home.

Is this my fault somehow? Or a flaw in the legal system at that time?

Okay so my grandma lives in an old house with an old dark basement and my mom say a really weird bug and we dont know what it was. To describe, it had a somewhat oval shape and two long legs like a spider but didnt look like one. It was black and grey and its body almost one inch long and total diameter about 3.5 inches. If you all dont know what it was were can I go to find out?

Ministry – I found a tape cassette of With Sympathy in a desk during 4th period chemistry in high school. Never heard of them prior to that point. Since possession is 9/10 of the law, I took it home to listen to. Of course, it blew me away. This album was so ahead of its time, even though Al was trying to fake a British accent.

Genitorturers – This friend of mine in Tampa was raving about a local band during the early 90’s. They sounded interesting enough but I had trouble finding their music. So, I forgot about them for a while. A couple years later, I stumbled upon 120 Days of Genitorture at a used CD shop down in Key West, the least likely place to find much of anything other than Jimmy Buffet.

I'm a little confused. I want to know if the Goo Goo Dolls covered a song called I'll be. I have been researching and getting very mixed messages over the topic. I found enuf info to know that the song was originally written and performed by Edwin McCain, and I have found another version of the song that claims to be and sounds like the Goo Goo Dolls and I personally think is better, but alot of ppl seem to claim that they never covered the song. Please can someone sort out this dispute once and for all! And if they didn't cover it, who is the other version by? Cheers x

How do I tell if they're actually learning stuff from my teaching or if its' just their parents helping them at home?

The reason I ask if because one of my struggling math students suddenly was picking up everything I was teaching about regrouping. I was so excited.

Then it turned out her mother had already taught her how to carry the one at home and was making her practice. I was still ECSTATIC, but then I wondered, "What if this happens a lot? If I think I'm this great teacher, when really it's the parents?"

If they're not learning from me, I want to know so I can change my methods

Ok, I moved from woods to small city. Im offered charter cable tv, I ordered thinking i was going to get the same reception as satilite I had so i ordered a digital box plus dvr ( which i never got ). Turn on box , turn on tv and suddenly I felt disgusted. I went from 65 bucks of clear digital reception over 200 channels including movie channels to now 65 bucks of analog signal with no movie channels and only 40 channels of which none have clear reception, cannot even see the time on them? plus a 40 buck installation charge. Anyone who thinks cable is better than satelite must be on pills and living in Neverland Ranch. If they will offer like 70 channels for like 25 bucks than it would be a good deal, but at 65 bucks its a total rip off. Who else thinks so?
