Well let me take a stab at this.
If you are talking monthly internet fees? Get a router, that will allow multiple machines to connect to ONE BROADBAND connection.

If you get a new machine with VISTA, it comes with a "Migration" tool which will transfer your email, browser history and favorites, etc to the new machine. (It leaves them on the old one too but just makes it easy to move to the new machine.) You will need a "Network", a USB cable, or some way to connect the two machines together.. If you have a router, they will be connected together!

If you are getting another machine from Dell. they can help you with this also.

You can't move programs (you can install the same programs but you need to install them not move them.) You probably need new licenses for many programs (many are ONE machine use only) All depends on what programs you are using. Many come with new machines, email, web browser etc.

Good Luck and hope this helps.

if your address book is in yahoo, you won't have to copy them. if it is on the computer, you can save them onto a flash drive and have the transfered like an ordinary file. internet access can be shared in many different ways. if yo are using a wireless router then there will be no additional costs. if you are using a wired router, you will have to purchase another cable for the second computer.
