What is a good ordering option so that I don't constantly worry about food in my teeth or spilling or sending the wrong image or whatever...

I should probably mention that the 2 gentlemen interviewing will be my direct supervisor and the Director of marketing. AND they know my dad really well so, making a positive impression is a MUST (my dad works for the company in the Marketing Dept. as well.)

First of all, I'm insanely jealous because I LOVE this kind of food.

I usually get salmon when I am at work lunches. It doesn't stick in your teeth like salad or spinach would and it shouldn't make your breath all garlicy either (not that you'll be kissing them or anything, LOL). For today I would stay away from anything green (the teeth thing). Lastly, salmon is not too cheap nor too expensive. That's what I personally would get.

Best of luck to you. (((((shell)))))

Ok, you want to stay away from red sauces that could drip or dishes with seeds. So from the lunch menu, try:
Diablo Chicken Pasta -
With grated cotija cheese and fresh jalapeños.
It's chicken and pasta; easy and yummy.

Or if your nervous, go with a salad. They're filling and may do better if you're looking to project a healthy image. It looks like most of their salads have little seeds in them, but this one looks safe:
Jerk Chicken Salad
Spicy jerk chicken strips with mixed field greens, roma tomatoes, feta cheese, crisp tortilla strips and sesame-ginger vinaigrette.

GOOD LUCK! & let us know how it goes :o)

Order something that you only need to touch with utencils - oily fingers will make you self- conscious and less likely to notice something in your teeth. Take a deep breath... they aren't looking to hire a robot, so feel free to eat before you go so you can be more focused on the conversation. Hope it goes great.

Water. ;-)

Take some breath mints with you for afterwards.

Chile Pork Verde
Pork simmered with garlic, serranos, green chiles and tomatillo, topped with melted Jack cheese and served in a cast-iron skillet. With hot flour tortillas and a side of black beans.

Order what you like though, it says that you are confident in yourself to believe that you can eat what you like. If you have a drink then order just one, you want to be confident but yet not appear like a lush.

While employers look at appearance they also look at your skills most of all.

The Chili Pork Verde looks good. Don't worry so much about what you eat or how your eating appears. Listen intently to what is being said and asked, and answer truthfully. They will respect you more for that.

Parmesan Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad
Spinach, goat cheese and warm bacon dressing looks nice

or the 'Z salad' ... their own salad -- related to interview

I would go with Nachos--with Salad there's too much of a chance of something in the teeth. You can eat nachos slowly, while you talk, and not be too messy with them, and nothing to stick in the teeth.

Don't worry about it, just enjoy your meal. They might feel more relaxed with you if they feel they can do the same. Remember it is often as nerve racking for person interviewing as the one being interviewed.

Some kind of finger food so you have control and can annotate the conversation. Be confident, smile and put best foot forward.

Take a deep breath, order what you want, and don't worry about it!!! It will be fine!!! The more you worry the more likely something like that will happen!!!

Feel confident and you will be confident!!!
