Are you more demure or assertive during this time. Is there some general ick factor associated with menses or is it just something to incorporate and/or work around?

It's actually hormones. The same ones that make us want to bite your head off make us want to rip your clothes off LOL.

Before menses it is a increase in desire... Depends on the female and the male involved. Personally, I think it is a time to rest the body... During it is a bit uncomfortable for females not to mention quite messy... most females feel unclean at this time... You have three other weeks out of the month for goodness sakes... God bless****

There is a certain 'ick' factor for me, when its that time. But the 'desire' does increase during and afterwards.

Of what I understand it varies among women. Keep in mind it is all about the survival of specie and if there is no potential for baby nature turns woman desire off or down.

I myself become hornier during my cycle. However, I tend to shy away from having sex during because of the "ick" factor. But my boyfriend doesn't seem to mind.

i think it is associated with the menses, when it comes to being horny or something that is 5 days after your period and about not thinking about sex i think its the work around you hehe

Nature makes us hornier when we are more fertile. Keeps the human race going.
But on the other hand, being on your cycle, you worry less about getting pg, so that too can make you want it.

Can't say I feel more 'desire' during that time of the month, but halfway thru, during ovulation, oh, yeah, you bet!!!

I defiantly have more sexually desire around this time. Not to mention on edge right before. That may just be me.
