Thankfully being a small island just off the coast of the UK with our own laws and government we dont have to do what he says.
Many people have put up their christmas trees already and Santa will be lighting the lights on the towns christmas tree as normal every year.
Christmas will still be as it always has here.

The Government hasn't asked us to down grade Christmas. My city will be turning on their lights this year with a big fireworks display and a panto star will be switching them on. They have a food market planned with hot chestnuts,, hot dogs and various other foods from across the globe. It marks the first night of late night Christmas shopping. It's going to be a big event just like it was last year

Although its thought that age allows certain slip ups or mistakes, all my friends although been through war as children, seem scared of what to say or do,including myself. When we talk its often said how we avoid any shops or areas with cultured people in case we say the wrong thing, its very frightening. We have tried to think, can anybody be racist or the likes to me as many times I have been told to get out of the way granny whitewash, and old trash, that kind of thing, but what do you do.Stay home is best i think.

Because we Brits are a real push over. We do not just have to embrace and accept everyone from everywhere we have to change everything about ourselves so as not to offend incomers. Brits have no rights anymore, we are at the bottom of the list of considerations. And who's fault is that? we do nothing except moan!

Good for Europe! Our family don't do much in the way of Xmas lights, but Gordon Brown asks me to turn off all me standby's, cut down on me carbon emissions, worry about me carbon footprint and still chunters on about extending runways for air travel. There is still a lot of motor sport going on (round and round in circles) and I have seen planes in sport ducking in and out of bridges, casinos that will use God knows what to keep going on electric bulbs and slots all night and he worries about my standby! Why not ask the Hindu's to cut out their Diwali lights too! - Leicester's Golden Mile has just has one hell of a turn on! The Muslims will need "Eid" lights too. Why pick on the Christians. - EASY MEAT!

Because this government thinks more about the rights of people from other countries than, the rights of the very people that put them in charge.
The millions of think tanks that have been created to do mindless thinking have a huge part in all of this as well.

Have you seen the size of the tree in the Houses of Parliament or outside Downing Street?
When they downgrade on their own doorsteps then we can enter debate, until then, B*LL*CKS to you Mr Brown.

Our government has asked no such thing.
It was a think tank who came up with the idea, no one has said that we should pay it any attention. The government has not reacted one way or another!

Because our government are a bunch of PC A**eholes who seem to be determined to ruin everything for everyone. This kind of thing is increasing racial and ethnic tensions rather than calming them. Lets celebrate whetever we like, however we like.
