I listened to Christopher West's cd, Marriage and the Eucharist, and was extremely enlightened by it. I was wondering if there are any other sources such as this one, based on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body...or any other source that you might recommend that would break it down pretty nicely, whther it be a book, audio, dvd, homily, talk, etc? Thank you in advance, for your recommendations.

-- My parents got 1 year visa, while most people get 10 year. During the interview, they said they will stay for 3-4 months. Could that be the reason of getting 1 year and not more?
(I know people who said 1 month stay, and they got 10 year visa)

I know "thoughts of suicide" is a symptom of depression and I do think about it a lot..probably daily. But I never actually plan it out or anything.

The US Constitution's first ammendment is freedom of religion and speech. That mean's one religion should not be forced on the masses.

Interesting that churches are preaching political matters in sermons to have their views forced on the masses. Also interesting that the only words allowed from the audience in these churches are "Amen," "Hallelujah," and "That's Right Brother." Does this sound like freedom of religion and speech?

These religiously brainwashed people refuse to even be curious about adopting 143 million orphaned children who want to be valued as much as white newborns are valued.

I have a class with her once a week, and 2 weeks ago i started to talk to her we talk a little and she laughs alot and is very happy all the time, u know, and now its obvious she knows im interested, when we cross in hallways we say hi but its still a 'hi' with shyness i think she likes me too....so do u think its time to talk to her when i see her alone and ask her out or is it too soon, How to know when the time is right....?

I think I may have been a victim of abuse in a past life, because when I hear some male jerk yelling at his female friend/spouse/whatever, it makes my blood boil and I just wanna go outside and beat the **** outta him even though he's twice my size...GOD I hate those types!

Ok so my friend helped me get a puppy from these people and it cost $649. I wanted to get my grandma the dog she always wanted and we like him and stuff but he isn't the right one for her. Is it legal to sell it without going back to those people? Or could i swap it with another puppy from someone who is selling it around the same price. I love him but it isn't up to me, cause i live with my grandparents. I cannot talk them out of it and i hate to think of him as an object to 'swap'. But i just wanted to know what you guys think. Cause there is a guy selling a puppy through the newspapers, the same species, age, and it costs $600. $49 less than what i bought so i was going to ask him if I could give him my puppy and he give me that one and he could sell mine to a good home.

I just asked my mom about her side and my dad's side of the family and well in my moms side, everyone is short and the tallest girl there was her sister but im taller than her.


Now in my dads side, all the girls were taller than the guys. and they were really tall.

Do you think I might have a chance to be atleast 5'6 or 5'7?

Im 16 and im 5'3 or 5'4. Which is pretty short for a 16 year old.
but at my school i look mostly average. I haven't gorwn 2 inch but I think I did grow 1 inch so far.
What do you guys think?

Plus I had a weird dream concerning my height but thats not important lol ;D

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying that women of other races aren't strong women that wouldn't be the truth. However, with others it appears that they are allowed to not always have to be invincible. Other races are allowed to cry and have a break down here and there and pop all the prozac they want without any one passing judgement. Black women on the other hand it seems we are expected to walk around with a chip on our shoulders (that most often you may not even have), we cant just break down and cry without being labled less than, we have to have everything under controll all the time. Sure I'm strong and I can handle my own but every now and again you want it to be okay if you don't have the answers or you need to cry or something.

If I am wrong and women of other races feel this way sometimes to let me know. Perhaps this is a commonality and I'm just clueless.

i bought a car about a month ago. it was a 2008 mitsubishi lancer. the salesman said that plus tax and everything it will come out to be $24,000 and something. so i said i'll down pay $19,000 and finance the rest, which he said was $5,000 and something. i'm 18, and have no credit. so i thought the deal was like that. but then i found out the the dealership sold me the car at the price of $25,000 and plus tax and everything came out to be $29,000 and something. so i had financed about $10,000. with interested came out to be $15,000. i never agreed to that term, but i signed all my documents without knowing. the people there said it as we talked about and i trusted them that it was right. since i'm new at this stuff, they said they'll take care of me.
what do i do?
what can i do?
i never agreed on the numbers on my agreement i signed, and the price is way over my head.
do i get a lawyer?
help me please.

For example, I am a self-confessed chocoholic, especially Cadburys, but I hate the fact that they exploit the countries supplying the cocoa. I used to shop at Gap, but discovered years ago that they use child labour - and were recently found to still be employing children. I have just watched a documentary about Coca cola and found out it had ties with Nazi Germany, employed questionable practices with regard to hiring of ethnic minorities, also has ties with child labour and so on. And due to the vicious, murderous nature of the diamond industry, I will never wear diamonds again.

I never intended to be a kaftan-wearing, tree-hugging "ethical consumer", but it looks LIKELY that almost every big corporation out there is, at best, horribly exploiting somebody much weaker than themselves. At worst, it is killing them.

ANyone out there feel where I am coming from? Can I go out and buy a packet of chewing gum without funding some oppressive, violent regime?
