At work (hospital), many nurses hate the fact that families will agree on dangerous procedures just to keep a love one alive. They will do this even though the outcome will still be the same, and the procedure even if successful will harm a patient in the long run.

A common example is performing a heart cath on an elderly patient, or attempting through all medical means possible to save a leg, when it would be best just to amputate it. I have seen cases where the person is only kept alive by machines.

So my question is, should we always take advantage of science, or should we just let life and death go on as it is? Where do you draw the line?

My problem is that my fiancee wants to get married in a Pentecostal church who won't accept me because I wasn't baptized in the name of Jesus but rather in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Therefore, they want me to get baptized in the name of Jesus. I feel that if I do, then I am putting my belief and God under this marriage which is not something I want to do. I don't want God to be second. I have until Saturday to figure out what i am doing and I have no idea just as yet.

I am a 100% straight guy, I started going to the gym since a year and a half ago. I used to be really overweight but know I am very toned.

I recently started admiring myself and my hard work in the mirror at home. To my suprise i started to get sexually excited just by looking at myself. I do not get this feeling about men, only myself.

I heard of a former american vietnam POW that was tied up, a hood put over his head and left in a room full of poisonous snakes.

I heard of another tied that had his legs and hand tied, a hood placed over his head and taken out in the middle of a river by boat and then dumped in.

In each case, the horrible vietcong did not kil the prisoner, but they sure wanted to scare death to death to try to get information out of them.

Were these war crimes?

My new puppy (a bijon friese) seems to always have poop stuck on the back of her butt. Since her little butt comes in contact with the carpet, furniture, etc. it seems like there's prpbably little poop smears all over the house. When I bathed her today it was really hard to get off as it was stuck to her fur. Does anyone have any tricks as to how to keep this area clean. Am I supposed to clean her butt each time she poops? Sorry to ask a dumb question - this is my first dog ever!
